Traitors-No Murder, All Mistakes

The Traitors – Episode 6: “Planning a Coup”

Podcast Summary

Episode 6 kicks off with shock at breakfast when the group realizes no one was murdered—instantly sending paranoia into overdrive. Colton zeroes in on Lisa, watching her closely while quietly looping in Dorinda to do the same. Meanwhile, a kitchen crew—including Lisa, Dorinda, Yam Yam, Colton, Eric, and Stephen—starts circling Ron as the likely traitor.

Elsewhere, multiple alliances form. Johnny, Maura, Mark, Kristin, and Tara attempt to build a voting bloc of eight, torn between Ron and Colton. Colton privately floats Lisa’s name to Natalie, suggesting she’s acting “too angelic” and not like her usual self. The plan? Casually drop her name and see who rushes to defend her.

The group heads to a cabin-in-the-woods challenge, where cryptic clues lead them to graves for cash prizes. No one takes a shield, and most pairs successfully earn money—except Candace and Tara, who miss their mark and return empty-handed. Ron, Rob, and Eric are left behind, only to learn no shields were claimed, keeping everyone vulnerable.

Back at the castle, momentum builds to banish Colton, but the narrative shifts yet again when Colton tells Lisa he’s voting for Ron—and bizarrely suggests a mutual protection deal, confusing Lisa, who insists she’s a faithful.

At the round table, Ron is forced to defend himself repeatedly, pointing out that no one has voted correctly all season. Several players—including Tara, Natalie, and Rob—voice doubts about banishing Ron and worry about sacrificing another faithful. Just as the group seems split, Colton throws a grenade by accusing Lisa of being a traitor, triggering chaos and frustration over yet another last-minute pivot.

Despite the doubts, the votes fall heavily on Ron. He is banished and reveals he was, in fact, a faithful, stunning the room and confirming the group has once again gotten it wrong.

Alan then invites the players to a lavish banquet with a deadly twist: the traitors must commit murder in plain sight. The first faithful to touch the amulet will be cursed to die. As everyone changes for the ball, the final reveal lands—Lisa is wearing the amulet, unknowingly placing herself directly in danger.

Wendy (00:01.294)
Hi, welcome to We Why Whenever, I'm Wendy.

Kelli (00:04.956)
I'm Kelly.

Lori (00:06.147)
And I'm Lori and I am ill so just I have to explain why I have this Minnie Mouse voice and if you hear a nose blow I don't know what to tell you. I'm doing the best I can. There you go. gotta do what you gotta do. I just can't, I can't come on here sounding like this and not say why.

Wendy (00:21.422)
You gotta do what you gotta do. That's it, right? You gotta do what you gotta do.

Wendy (00:33.838)
So we are talking about traitors, season four, episode number six, planning a coup.

So we start out at breakfast and we find out that no one was murdered, which is what we predicted last week was gonna happen. One of the things I wanted to bring up at breakfast, because I've seen a bunch of social media posts about it and I've seen them talking about it, is the salmon, the smoked salmon is the hot thing at the breakfast table.

Kelli (00:53.885)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (01:10.387)
and you gotta get there early or there's none left for you because everyone eats it. So I thought that was interesting.

Lori (01:15.995)
Well, you are in Scotland. They're known for their salmon.

Wendy (01:20.812)
Yeah.

Kelli (01:23.707)
clearly they're not putting enough out because

Wendy (01:24.334)
Yes, they need to be putting out more.

Lori (01:25.829)
Clearly not. I did see a social media post, I forget which girl it was, she was really, besides the salmon, she was really ragging on the food services that it's really not good. Yeah, yeah, Mm-hmm, I know, I was surprised, because everybody was going on about smoked salmon, but yeah, I think in general, the food services was not great.

Kelli (01:29.063)
Yes.

Wendy (01:42.05)
Really?

Kelli (01:43.847)
Castle?

Wendy (01:55.02)
I find that interesting.

Lori (01:56.315)
Hmm?

Wendy (01:58.446)
So when Colton comes in, I also notice he's really watching Lisa at the breakfast table. He's very much keeping his eye on her. And he's talking to Dorinda, who's sitting next to him and asking her to watch out for Lisa and let him know what she thinks about the way she's reacting.

Kelli (02:06.876)
sure.

Yes.

Lori (02:20.303)
loved Dorinda's outfit. She looked really good. It was like I on a red, like, woolen dress with like some... It was funky with like some embroidery on it, like words and... I don't know. She just looked cute. I really just really liked her outfit. It was something, but it was cute. I was very confused by the girl who looked like the Avengers in the black, leotardy outfit. That was a confusing outfit.

Wendy (02:22.894)
Which outfit was it? don't remember it.

Kelli (02:29.917)
buttons.

Mm-hmm.

Wendy (02:35.96)
I remember it now. No, no, I do remember the words. I don't know what they were, but yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (02:50.439)
I think that's a thing on this show, the fashion. I don't know if it was before Ciara was on it, but I think when Ciara from Summer House went on it, she made it a thing where she was posting outfit of the day or whatever. But it could have been a thing prior to that. I just started paying attention when Ciara was on

Wendy (02:56.022)
It's definitely a thing.

Wendy (03:14.466)
Yeah, I mean, think Alan Cummings makes the outfits a thing because of... Right? And when you're in his presence, you kind of have to step up your game, right?

Kelli (03:18.129)
Well, of course, yeah, of course, yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (03:25.745)
Yes, yes.

Lori (03:26.447)
Guess what?

Wendy (03:29.08)
So then after breakfast, there's a bunch of people in the kitchen and they're talking about Ron, how they think it's Ron. And in the kitchen is Lisa, Dorinda, Jam Jam, Colton, Eric, and Steven. I will say, I really think Steven is flying under the radar here. Like no one mentions him. Like he doesn't.

Kelli (03:46.269)
for sure.

Kelli (03:49.885)
I know, but he's such a nice guy. But nobody's mentioning Rob either. That's why, like they're kind of playing the game the same way.

Wendy (03:55.919)
Yes, they are. They are.

Lori (03:59.771)
And I saw Lisa Rinna did a post and she said that the thing about Rob is no one clocks him because she said he's so gorgeous that no one like spends a lot of time like really looking him in the eye because they're just like, you know.

Kelli (04:20.787)
But I think Steven's so adorable too, so I feel like it's the same thing.

Wendy (04:26.06)
Yeah. So then we see Ron is talking to Rob and asking him who he thinks is going after tonight, because Ron is telling Rob that he knows he's going tonight.

Kelli (04:38.033)
Right. He's like, who's going to be on your radar after me, after I get kicked off tonight, then who you going for?

Lori (04:42.831)
Yeah, yeah.

Wendy (04:45.238)
Yeah. And then Rob asks Ron if anyone has said his name and Ron's like, never, not once. I've never heard your name. Like he's, you know, propping him up, which I was kind of nice.

Lori (04:56.652)
Yeah.

Wendy (04:58.83)
Then we see Johnny and Maura and Mark and Kristen and Tara. And I think it was Johnny that started it. Johnny and Tara decided if they get a group of eight together, they can control the roundtable because they only need eight votes. Yeah.

Lori (05:13.113)
Yeah, was definitely Johnny who started it.

Kelli (05:15.175)
Yeah. Yes. Yes.

Wendy (05:19.022)
So they're all talking about how they think it's either Ron or Colton that they want to get out.

And then we see Colton and Natalie go to the side and Colton says to Natalie, like, he's got a name that he's holding and he, you know, wants to check with her and see what she thinks and it has to stay between them. And he mentions Lisa and Natalie's like, yeah, I could see that. Like I could see it being Lisa. It's not the Lisa that they know, which it's not the Lisa that they know. mean, anyone who's ever seen Lisa Rinna.

on Housewives, she is, you know, loud and boisterous.

Kelli (06:02.257)
Yes, outspoken.

Wendy (06:05.026)
Yes. And he lets us know that what he's going to be doing is he's going to keep dropping Lisa's name and see who reacts to it, how they react to it, if they try and defend her.

Kelli (06:16.563)
He's going to be looking to see who defends her.

Wendy (06:23.852)
And then Colton says to Lisa when she walks in, I'm glad you have your sunglasses off today so I can look you in your eyes. I was like, And she said, well, what would you like to see? And he goes, I'd like to see my future. So he's really taunting her now at this point, I think.

Kelli (06:34.259)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (06:45.605)
Absolutely. I gotta be honest with you. I don't like him on the show and the more I hear about him, I do not like this guy. I do not like him at all. I think he has an ulterior motive. I think he just wants to be on TV and be famous and apparently being in the NFL wasn't enough for him. I think he goes to great lengths to make himself relevant.

Lori (06:51.077)
I don't like them at all. No.

Wendy (06:55.468)
I agree.

Lori (07:11.929)
Yeah, because sometimes with these shows, you know, it's not necessarily about who wins. It's about who becomes the face of the the season, you know, Absolutely or anything else, absolutely. So I think that is his game. And as we see later on, his situation where he pulls aside Lisa Renna.

Kelli (07:19.973)
Of course. Because that's a new opportunity for you to be on another show afterwards.

Kelli (07:37.171)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (07:38.139)
That's a very creep factor to it because of who he is, but we'll get to that.

Wendy (07:45.454)
So then they're gonna go on their mission. They all get ready to go on their mission. which by the way, I found out somebody, I don't remember who it was on social media on TikTok said that they reached out to Lisa like in one of the comments about what the timeline is for these days because it seems like every morning they go to breakfast in one outfit and then they go on the mission and then they come back to the round table in the same outfit that they did the mission on. So Lisa confirmed.

Kelli (08:12.497)
really? I didn't notice that.

Wendy (08:13.718)
Yes, I did notice that. I absolutely noticed that.

Lori (08:17.721)
But this, wait a second, this one, they were in a different outfit than they were at a breakfast.

Wendy (08:23.222)
No, they weren't. They were in the same outfit. They were in the same outfit. Go back and watch it.

Kelli (08:28.435)
Wait, they don't wear the same outfit to the mission that they do at the breakfast. okay.

Wendy (08:32.384)
No, no, not to the mission, to the round table. So they...

Lori (08:32.674)
No!

okay, okay, okay, that's what I was talking about.

Kelli (08:37.031)
From the mission to the round table, they're in the same outfit.

Wendy (08:40.818)
No, they go to breakfast in the morning, then they get changed, yes, then they get changed, they go to the mission, and then at the round table again, they're in the same outfit that they were at breakfast in.

Lori (08:42.479)
Breakfast? Breakfast in the round table there in the same office. Yeah, okay.

Lori (08:52.677)
from breakfast. Okay, I got you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, okay.

Kelli (08:54.616)
okay, okay, that makes sense, okay.

Wendy (08:56.814)
So she was curious if that's the actual sequence of how it's shot. Like, that what the day looks like? And Lisa Rinna said, that is how it goes. So they get up in the morning, they do all their hair and makeup, they go to breakfast at their hotel, they go on their mission, get all dirty, come back and shower again, do their hair and makeup again, go to the round table and shoot it again.

Kelli (09:03.261)
Great question. Great question.

Kelli (09:12.881)
at their hotel.

Lori (09:14.627)
At the hotel.

Lori (09:25.656)
That's annoying.

Wendy (09:27.338)
It's also, there's no glam, obviously there's no glam there, so everyone does their own hair and makeup, which by the way, Candice's eyes are amazing the way she does her eyes.

Lori (09:33.071)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (09:37.947)
I was just gonna say, I feel like Candace and Lisa are really doing a great job on themselves. And I think Portia was too.

Wendy (09:46.198)
And Maura, Maura's doing a great job too.

Lori (09:47.931)
Oh yeah, more, yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Kelli (09:48.465)
Well yeah, she's- that girl is gorgeous.

Wendy (09:51.436)
Yes. like that's a lot. mean, the men for them, it's no big deal. But for us, like that's a lot to have to do that. Also, the round tables can be up to five hours. The round table. Yep. Up to five hours. That's crazy. Yep.

Lori (09:57.144)
No, it's no big deal. Yeah, it's a lot. Mess with your hair or everything.

Kelli (10:00.39)
Yeah.

Kelli (10:10.562)
come on. It doesn't take you that long to vote somebody off the island.

Lori (10:11.769)
Yeah, that's crazy. Now I just pick somebody and move on.

Kelli (10:17.747)
Hmm?

Wendy (10:18.178)
Because we don't see that much of it. like, we only see what we... I know, I know. Can you imagine?

Kelli (10:20.775)
Thank God!

Lori (10:21.787)
Yeah. No.

Wendy (10:27.88)
And also the order that they vote in, that's not random either. know, when they cast their vote for who they're banishing, their producers come in and they see which way they think it's going. And then the producers set the order that they reveal their votes in, which I thought that was interesting too. Yes. So the mission today is the cabin in the woods. Okay. This one was first.

Kelli (10:45.543)
Well, especially after this episode.

Wendy (10:55.958)
It took me a couple of times to figure it out. So they go inside the cabin, they all go inside the cabin, and they're all sitting at this round table and they're gonna be getting clues and they're gonna be cryptic clues. And they have to figure out the names of the people that are on the gravestones by the clues that they get. And they get sent two people out to go stand in front of the gravestone of the name that they think it is, but they only have 30 seconds from the time the door opens to stand at the gravestone.

and be in front of the right gravestone. And if they get it right, they get $3,000 in their pot. And once you leave the cabin, you don't go back. So once you leave the cabin, then you're out of the game. You're done for the day. I think I explained that right, right? Okay. I was like, wait, why is this game working? So the first...

Kelli (11:44.339)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Wendy (11:52.8)
The first clue that they start to get is like the Ouija board. They start getting letters, right? And they come up with it. They think it's Louise Clark. So Candace and Tara are the most afraid of the house. So those two run out. But as they were running out, they changed the name and it's not Louise Clark. It's Louise Black. I thought, well, they'll figure it out. There's not going to be a Louise Black out there. Well, there was. There was both.

Kelli (12:18.791)
Louise Clark. There was. There was a Louise Clark and a Louise Black.

Wendy (12:22.048)
and Louise Black. Right. So they go stand in front of Louise Clark. It turns out that they were wrong. It was Louise Black. So they don't get their $3,000.

Lori (12:22.619)
All right.

Lori (12:34.005)
How about the poor person who has to lay in the grave and then poke their hand in?

Kelli (12:39.923)
I thought the same thing.

Lori (12:43.023)
Right?

Kelli (12:44.797)
That was wild. Was that really a hand? Was it really an arm?

Lori (12:46.155)
Yeah. Yes! Yes! It was really somebody laying in there. That's poked their hand out. Yeah.

Kelli (12:53.693)
That's crazy. I mean, imagine how much time it took to film this. You're burying someone, they're sticking their hand out, and then you're like...

Lori (12:58.607)
Yeah.

Wendy (12:59.572)
I can't imagine.

Lori (13:05.177)
Yeah, it's crazy.

Kelli (13:06.011)
I don't know.

Wendy (13:08.76)
So then the next one is...

Jam Jam and Maura and they get Jack Stone and they got it right then

Kelli (13:20.797)
but he saw a shield, remember? They said, they all agreed, nobody was taking a shield, and Jam Jam was like, damn it, I want that shield.

Lori (13:23.853)
Mm-hmm. And you rented it.

Wendy (13:24.244)
Yes. right.

Lori (13:31.237)
Yeah.

Wendy (13:31.49)
Yes, I forgot to mention that part, yes.

Kelli (13:33.413)
And Mora was like, I think he's a traitor. If he were a traitor, why would he be so hot on getting a shield? Right? That would make me think the opposite unless he was just, I don't know.

Lori (13:39.964)
Shields, Yeah. Makes sense.

Wendy (13:46.924)
Yeah. And then Rinna and Mark go out next, and they had Dorothy Darkin, and they get theirs right. They get their $3,000.

Lori (13:59.076)
Now look, there's some creepy stuff in there, like blood going down the walls and see the bugs is where I would have been like,

Wendy (14:02.935)
Yes.

Kelli (14:04.125)
Bugs threw me off.

Wendy (14:13.038)
There's a lot of screaming too.

Kelli (14:13.415)
Because they show you the bugs and then they turn the lights off. I would have been freaking out. Freaking out. No they were not. No they were not.

Lori (14:17.241)
Yeah, no, no, I would have been like, yeah. And they were not fake bugs, they were real bugs. They real bugs. But I'm just letting you know, the bugs is the turning point.

Wendy (14:31.234)
so you'd have been freaking out.

Lori (14:32.555)
Yeah, Yeah. I don't care about the blood running down the walls. I know that's all bullshit. I don't care about the clown in the mask and the chicks screaming in the corner with fake blood on our f- Alright, fine. But you do some live bugs?

Wendy (14:40.867)
Yeah.

Wendy (14:49.358)
Yeah, I'm not into the bug part either. No. Then next is Kristen and Colton. go out. They get their $3,000. Steven and Natalie go. They get their $3,000. And left in the cabin is Ron, Rob, and Eric, the three of them. So as soon as they come out of the cabin,

Lori (14:51.939)
No, no, Me no likey.

Wendy (15:16.11)
Alan lets them know that nobody took a shield, which I was glad he let them know because I guess they probably would have figured it out when they got back when they started talking to people, but you never know.

Kelli (15:24.167)
Yeah

Wendy (15:28.748)
They get back at the castle and Johnny and Mark are trying to rally the group again to get rid of Colton.

And in the kitchen, it's Candace and Lisa and Rob are in there. And he says that he thinks it's not Ron. Rob is like, I don't think it's Ron. I don't think it's Ron. And Candace and Lisa are like, right. What are you doing? We have this plan.

Kelli (15:53.533)
We just have to stick with the plan.

Kelli (16:00.542)
But he, mean, listen, he couldn't vote Ron. He couldn't.

Wendy (16:10.9)
No, he couldn't vote Ron. He couldn't.

Kelli (16:12.423)
They clearly had, you know.

Wendy (16:16.512)
No, and like we said last week, we said that Candice was going to have to vote Ron because she had to stay the same. Like she had to because otherwise it wouldn't, it wouldn't look right for her.

Kelli (16:23.773)
Right. Right.

Wendy (16:30.752)
So then Colton pulls Lisa aside and he says to her, he's voting for Ron tonight. But then he says, I will protect you at the round table if you protect me in the turret. And Lisa's like, what are you talking about? I'm a faithful.

Kelli (16:47.431)
She didn't say that right away though, she definitely hesitated.

Lori (16:50.413)
She did hesitate and not only that Bro you and kidnapping Don't go together like You stalked your girlfriend and had restraining orders like it's not a good look for you like don't know No, no, no. No, I get I get your little sideways move thing. I get the whole thing But kidnapping in you know

Kelli (17:19.677)
Like why has this guy not gotten canceled by now? Like he stalked and was a, he was a predator. He's a predator. And we're giving him reality TV shows? Like seriously, what is over and over, over and over? What is going on? Cancel this guy.

Lori (17:23.011)
No.

Lori (17:28.28)
Use a predator.

Mm-hmm.

Wendy (17:34.56)
Over and over, over and over.

Lori (17:36.343)
Right. Yeah. No. No. And had that smirk and everything and I was like, eww. Eww.

Kelli (17:45.458)
That's what I mean. Like he just, there's no remorse. There's no account, you know. But that's because he keeps getting shows. He keeps getting rewarded for his bad behavior. He really should be on Bravo.

Lori (17:48.623)
No.

Lori (17:51.947)
No, no, no, no, no,

Lori (17:58.3)
behavior yeah yeah yeah yeah

I'm just saying, him and kidnapping do not belong in same sense.

Wendy (18:12.874)
I totally agree. totally agree. So then it's time for the round table and they're all sitting at the round table and nobody's saying anything. And I said, think it's important who speaks first. And the interesting thing was this time Ron spoke first and he's like, all right, so does anyone have anything? Like nobody's talking. Like they're not saying anything. And Mark starts with, well, I'd like to bring up some stuff like.

Kelli (18:25.65)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (18:42.378)
Right now, like, I'm feeling all the information we have from four days in a row is... What was he saying? Was he saying it was... for Colton. He was... He Right. Right. Right.

Kelli (18:53.351)
Well, because Colton keeps throwing names out and they keep being wrong, so it's like, why are you trying to control this? You're clearly not getting it right.

Lori (19:01.179)
Right. And really, all the guy Ron did was bring pertinent information. I mean, was absolutely true. And she rolled herself under the bus. And all of sudden, I don't understand why he has a bullseye on him because he what? Because he.

Wendy (19:01.366)
Right. Right.

Kelli (19:06.341)
And what he said was true!

Lori (19:20.399)
Told you true stuff, I don't get it.

Kelli (19:22.727)
Right, but meanwhile Colton put two people in that weren't, that were faithfuls, he's not getting any flack.

Wendy (19:26.978)
Yes.

Exactly. The Porsche thing about I saw her do an interview about that. And when she was asked why she said, if I killed them, she said they only showed us that small snippet of it. It was a whole big conversation and they were they were role playing. Like if I was a traitor, what would I have done? And then they took that they took

Lori (19:54.875)
sneaky, sneaky production.

Kelli (19:55.219)
Wendy (19:59.692)
Well, not only production, also, Ron, Ron, Ron took it back and spun it that way. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. So I thought, my gosh, that's so, because Portia's not dumb. Portia's not dumb. She's not dumb. And I was like, OK, well, that explains that. Like that at least makes sense to me, right?

Kelli (20:02.739)
players.

Lori (20:08.891)
Oh, okay. So there was a spin there. Okay. Okay.

Lori (20:20.218)
Right.

Kelli (20:26.023)
Yeah, that does make sense.

Wendy (20:28.398)
Ron then stands up and not stands up, but stands up for himself and said, we both made a mistake mistakes here. Like, I don't think a single one of us has voted correctly every single time, which he's right, right? He's like, but I'm the only one that's been paid to defend them. And he's, he's right. Like, why aren't, why isn't Colton having to, Colton said Ron banishing you makes sense. So he's still, you know, he's still pushing for Ron.

Kelli (20:38.291)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (20:55.606)
And Ron says, listen, you made more misses than I did. And Kristen said, well,

Kelli (20:58.983)
He did stay true to his word though, Colton. He stuck with Ron at this roundtable. It wasn't until they started coming for him that he mentioned Lisa, which was a very smart move on his part.

Wendy (21:04.162)
He did.

Wendy (21:11.0)
Right.

Wendy (21:14.52)
And then Kristen's like, well, you had more misses than I did. And Eric said, well, I don't like the way it happened with Tiffany. And then Maura's like, well, if you were a traitor, you'd be very dangerous. Like, everyone listens to you, which is true with Colton. I don't know why they listen to him. Like, we can't. Right.

Kelli (21:29.523)
Yeah.

Lori (21:32.623)
I don't know why. Such a creeper.

Kelli (21:34.289)
because he's loud, just like Michael Rapaport.

He's loud.

Wendy (21:39.256)
That he is loud. Then Jam Jam said the...

Lori (21:40.764)
And you know what, think too he's the kind of person that believes in his own delusion, so then therefore it ends up to be easy for people to believe him, you know what I mean? Because he believes himself. He believes his own bullshit kind of a guy, you know what I mean? I'm sure he doesn't think he's a stalker.

Kelli (21:50.205)
He gave me

Kelli (21:53.735)
He can be very convincing.

Wendy (21:57.965)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (21:58.492)
And I know someone like that.

Exactly. Right. But he'll say a lie and he's so committed to it that he'll convince other people. It's a very dangerous kind of person to be.

Lori (22:04.271)
You know what mean?

Wendy (22:07.724)
No he doesn't.

Lori (22:10.713)
That's what I'm saying. yeah, yeah. That's it. Yes, it is. Yes, it is.

Wendy (22:18.114)
And then Jam Jam says the only thing we knew was that Donna was a traitor and Ron tried to protect Donna.

I mean, a lot of people tried to, I mean, it was Donna, you know?

Kelli (22:29.947)
Yeah, right. Nobody thought she was a traitor.

Lori (22:31.056)
Right.

Wendy (22:34.476)
Right. And then Ron said, listen, the best thing I can do is for you to write my name down and then we know for sure. mean, Ron really put it out there for him to be voted out.

Kelli (22:41.721)
He totally dead.

Lori (22:41.903)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, most definitely.

Wendy (22:45.452)
Why do you think he did that? Do you think he was just done with it and he just wanted to go home?

Kelli (22:48.467)
Yeah, I think at this point he figured it was a lost cause like I knew you know just like he said to Rob like

Lori (22:53.583)
And I think he's probably just a very stand-up person in general. Like I saw him on a podcast and he said, you know, it came down to not even being about the show. Like I wanted my kids to see it and know that, you know, that I was a stand-up guy. You know what I mean? So I think that's his deal. Right, and that's it.

Kelli (23:18.161)
If I'm gonna be a loyal, I'm gonna be a loyal.

Wendy (23:23.192)
I mean, I did think it was interesting when he said, want to go around the table and say goodbye to everyone. I was like, yeah, yeah.

Lori (23:28.731)
was a good move. It was a good move. It was a good play is what it was.

Kelli (23:29.299)
That was interesting.

Wendy (23:38.488)
So then Tara said, can I say something? I don't think it's wrong, but I don't know if it's going to get me murdered tonight, it's, I don't think it's Ron. But I don't, you know, she kept saying, I don't think it's Ron. And then Natalie said, I don't think it's Ron. And then Rob said, I don't think it's Ron. And I'm glad that somebody finally spoke up and said, I don't think it's Ron. Otherwise, like it would have just, it would have been, everyone would have voted for Ron.

Kelli (23:58.921)
Yeah.

Kelli (24:06.691)
Everybody would have voted for Ron. Yeah.

Lori (24:10.267)
Which they all found out they were wrong anyway.

Wendy (24:13.078)
Yeah. And then Colton throws out, well, if we're looking for a name to get off Ron, how about we throw Lisa's name in there as a traitor? I was like, okay.

Lori (24:27.705)
Yeah, first you try and blackmail her, then you throw her under the bus.

Wendy (24:27.756)
And then Candace.

Wendy (24:35.16)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (24:37.093)
goes to show you what his gig is.

Kelli (24:38.565)
And all they were basing it on is that she voted for Portia the first night. And that she's not being boisterous.

Lori (24:48.531)
But I guess when you're in that kind of situation you're trying to figure something like that. I mean you gotta make mountains out of molehills because there's nothing else to do. how else you gonna, what are you gonna go by? You just have to go by whatever thing you can grasp onto.

Kelli (24:59.289)
Right, right. Yeah.

Kelli (25:07.249)
And she's not being herself. She's not being typical Lisa Rinna on a reality TV show. Maybe you're not gonna be a housewife on this show, but if she were a loyal, she would very much be acting different. She's not playing the game well as a traitor. yeah, I keep saying loyal, sorry.

Lori (25:11.737)
Right. Right.

Lori (25:16.921)
Right.

Wendy (25:23.106)
faithful.

Lori (25:24.033)
Right, right, yes. I know, I know what you mean. We know what you mean. Yeah, same shit.

Wendy (25:26.55)
loyal, faithful. It's the same thing. So the funny thing is when she was questioned about not being over the top, she kept saying, I'm Lisa F. Inrena. I'm Lisa F. Inrena. Like,

Kelli (25:39.047)
Yeah, but you're not being Lisa F. Mrena.

Wendy (25:41.406)
F and Rena, yeah. Yeah.

Lori (25:41.805)
Yeah, so what are you doing?

Wendy (25:47.298)
So then it goes to the, you know, Alan comes in and it goes to the votes and you know, we know that Ron winds up being banished and he announces he's a faithful.

Wendy (26:04.684)
The best thing that happened is at the end when he talks about this banquet that he's going to invite them to at the castle and they're all going to get changed. So they're going to go change into another outfit. And I didn't know this, but apparently Alan has been saying that something big happens at his dinner. So.

Kelli (26:25.979)
I mean, you know it's gonna be a murder in plain sight. But.

Wendy (26:29.118)
Yeah, but I think it's bigger than that. I think it's bigger than that. I think it's bigger than that. Yes.

Lori (26:31.407)
Yeah, there's something happens with Tara. I feel some things, there's something happens with Tara.

Kelli (26:35.741)
Well, can we talk about Rob voting for Lisa first, though?

Wendy (26:40.204)
Yeah, we can. Yeah, Rob voted for Lisa.

Lori (26:40.258)
yeah, yeah.

Kelli (26:41.797)
I mean, were you shocked? I was shocked. I I understand why he did it. I understand his reasoning. It would have looked very obvious if he didn't, because if the three names out there were Colton, Ron, and Lisa, he had to vote for her. But it's still, I was like, woo, I couldn't believe it.

Lori (27:02.683)
oof that's right yeah yeah

Kelli (27:06.055)
I mean, that's gonna be a problem.

Wendy (27:06.21)
Well, well, I will tell you that you didn't watch it last season, but you know, traders have gotten other traders voted out before. Like that's happened. They've gotten them banished. It happened last season with with Boston Robb and Bob the Drag Queen.

Kelli (27:17.063)
Really?

Wendy (27:27.02)
And once they turn on each other, they turn on each other.

Kelli (27:30.451)
Well, yeah, now I'm a little worried. But I understood why Rob did what he did. I'm just a little worried that this is gonna break up the Happy Trader Alliance. She said to him, I don't trust you now. Is that it?

Wendy (27:41.815)
Well, I

Lori (27:44.603)
Now how could it be?

Wendy (27:44.748)
Well, and I get that. Right, I get that. like you said, he had to. I think this is my prediction. I think the writing is on the wall for Lisa. I think that Lisa is going to wind up getting banished, and there's nothing he can do about it. So he's going to

Kelli (27:49.747)
He did.

Kelli (27:55.396)
Mm-hmm. Yes. No. And if he defends her...

Lori (28:02.799)
Right. I just don't know why they didn't have Candice wear the pin.

Wendy (28:04.738)
Yeah.

Wendy (28:11.246)
Because Lisa offered it. Lisa jumped on it. I thought Candace could have pulled it off too. I actually thought Candace, yeah.

Lori (28:13.987)
I know, I just, absolutely. I think it would have been better because of the fact that there was some suspicion on Lisa already. So I think it would have made more sense to put it on Candace. Cause she doesn't have a target on her. I was like, well why you having Lisa do it when it's in plain sight and she's already got a target on her? Like, what? think.

Kelli (28:29.083)
Yeah, because she doesn't have a target on her already.

Wendy (28:39.522)
Well, again, I think that that's probably possibly what solidifies, you know, her demise. And Candace, why is Candace going to offer to put the target on her, right? And we already established, you know, Rob can't wear it. It's not going to look right on him.

Lori (28:46.555)
Mm.

Lori (28:55.321)
Right. Now. Now.

Kelli (28:56.657)
No, it's really not his style. It doesn't really go with the overalls. Imagine he just wears the denim overalls and that.

Wendy (28:58.99)
Well, he's going to change anyway.

Lori (28:59.557)
That does go with the overalls. And the snake tattoo.

Wendy (29:05.73)
Yeah.

So I don't know, I'm looking forward to next week's.

Kelli (29:11.731)
So you think something bigger than just a murder on plain sight is gonna go down.

Lori (29:14.387)
yes, I've seen some social media stuff, but yes, there's definitely...

Wendy (29:14.624)
I do. Yes. Yes. I think something bigger is coming. I think next week's episode is going to be big. I do.

Kelli (29:19.624)
Okay.

Okay, well that's exciting.

Lori (29:22.427)
And they said it was something like some kind of milestone in traitor history kind of a thing. It's like a, yeah, this is something. So I don't know. I don't know. Maybe Johnny gets murdered in plain sight and Tara flips out. I don't know. I don't know, something. We'll see.

Kelli (29:30.803)
okay.

Wendy (29:50.03)
But that's also something that I don't quite understand, speaking of Johnny and Tara. Like they have done so many different like shows together. Like everyone knows they're their best friends. How can the other people in the house not know that those two are best friends? you didn't know that?

Lori (30:03.215)
Not now.

Kelli (30:03.269)
I didn't. I don't and I'm like a reality TV show junkie. I didn't know that. I've never seen them on a show before.

Wendy (30:09.55)
yeah.

Lori (30:11.077)
But somebody there must know, and then once one person knows, everyone knows.

Kelli (30:14.449)
What other shows have they been on? Well, yeah, that's true.

Wendy (30:16.898)
They do, they did like, traveled together, did some kind of traveling show, like they're doing the Olympics together, they host the Olympics, they've hosted the Olympics in the past together. Like, they've done stuff together.

Kelli (30:28.189)
You know what, but that's like a work thing where it doesn't necessarily mean like that they're hanging out on the weekends. You know what I mean? Like that could just be like the Olympics because they were both in the Olympics. I'm sure there's a lot of Olympians who are hosting Olympic events. I don't know.

Wendy (30:46.796)
I know, but they're playing it off as though they're not, like, that they're not friends, but what I'm saying, yeah, but, and they, I mean, it's not like the housewives, like, they're not even on the same show together. Like, these two have been side by side on many shows together. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. I think it's just a little odd that nobody there picks that up. Or even if you're, you know, you're sitting there talking. I mean, you're both figure skaters.

Lori (30:49.947)
friends kind of a thing, like an alliance already.

Kelli (30:50.811)
Yeah. Yes, they are.

Lori (31:03.429)
Yeah.

Kelli (31:03.697)
Yeah, yeah.

Kelli (31:14.353)
Right.

Wendy (31:16.024)
Like I would want someone to ask them the question, you guys, you know, did you guys ever hang out? Like something.

Kelli (31:20.977)
Right, right, are you close? Do you see each other outside of, yeah.

Lori (31:21.602)
That's right.

Right. So we'll see. We'll see what happens.

Wendy (31:24.992)
Yeah. I don't know. Yeah.

Kelli (31:29.531)
I'm enjoying it though, I really like this show.

Wendy (31:32.684)
I do too. Any better for you, Laura? Nope, she raised an eyebrow. Nah. She doesn't like it.

Lori (31:36.472)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No. So funny. Yeah, no. But, you know, I do it for the people, as Bethany says. I for the people. I know. Yeah. She's got kids. She's got a... What is it? God.

Kelli (31:38.099)
Really?

Kelli (31:41.767)
really enjoy it.

Wendy (31:50.574)
Okay. Speaking of Bethany, did you see her diagnosis?

Kelli (31:51.773)
We're very grateful.

Wendy (32:01.902)
Stage two or something?

Kelli (32:03.805)
Wait, Bethany Frankel?

Lori (32:04.175)
Yeah, she's got some kind of kidney something. Right? Kidney? Yeah.

Wendy (32:05.612)
Yes.

Kelli (32:09.074)
Really?

Wendy (32:09.516)
Yeah. Yes.

Kelli (32:11.699)
Oh gosh, I had no idea. Oh, that's very sad.

Lori (32:13.657)
Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's anything terminal, but I know it's some kind of disease. I'm kind of kidney something or other.

Wendy (32:14.178)
Yeah, I probably should have looked it up before I brought it up.

Wendy (32:22.86)
Yes.

Kelli (32:23.027)
I'm sorry to hear that.

Wendy (32:25.676)
Yeah, I am too. I am too.

Kelli (32:27.303)
What is this whole Brooklyn Beckham thing? And his wife and pa, what is this all about?

Lori (32:32.144)
that's crazy.

Wendy (32:32.28)
Gosh.

Lori (32:35.983)
He's like saying stuff about his parents like that they're, they don't.

Kelli (32:39.557)
Is it like a Prince Harry thing where he's like, I'm not putting on the facade anymore?

Lori (32:45.199)
Something like that his parents have been, his parents are all about the money, not about him, and like, I don't know what the hell's going on.

Kelli (32:56.399)
I gotta see this wedding dance with him and his mother. That's all I know. I know, and it's pissing me off. Because somebody at that wedding took video and they can very clearly, easily post it.

Wendy (32:59.426)
You're not going to see it. You're not going to see it.

You're not gonna see it.

Wendy (33:09.986)
I don't know, they could have taken their phones. A lot of these celebrity weddings, they take their phones. There could be. So I looked it up.

Kelli (33:12.787)
you're right. You're right. You're right.

Lori (33:13.209)
Yeah, they don't take phone, yeah.

What was with the dance?

Kelli (33:20.925)
Supposedly, he was supposed to have a special dance with his wife, and then his mother like hijacked the dance. And supposedly, allegedly, it was like a very...

Lori (33:40.921)
risque kinda or intimate kinda thing. Yeah, With your, with your,

Wendy (33:41.228)
inappropriate.

Kelli (33:41.48)
But inappropriate, thank you, inappropriate dance that you would have with your son.

Wendy (33:49.71)
So I've listened to a lot of people talk about this situation. Heather McDonald was one of them. I think Heather David Yontiff. I've listened to a lot of people talk about it. So was Mark Anthony was a singer. And Mark Anthony called up Victoria Beckham. And Mark Anthony said for her to dance, not only did he call Victoria Beckham, he called up the most beautiful woman in the room when it was

Kelli (34:19.451)
So you don't You're not gonna you're gonna try to tell me that Victoria didn't set that up and hijack that whole situation You're gonna say you're the most beautiful. I think she totally did it. I think she told I think she manipulated that whole thing, right?

Wendy (34:19.798)
his what you don't

Wendy (34:28.908)
I'm not saying sh-

Yeah.

Wendy (34:36.706)
Well, mean, yes and no, because also what I heard is that he did do his dance with his wife. It was a different song that they danced to. And this was something else. Also, I don't know if you know this, but her family, Nicholas, they're billionaires. She comes from a billionaire family, so they don't need their money. And...

Kelli (35:00.755)
They don't need the Beckham Soccer Spice Girl money.

Wendy (35:04.502)
Right. The brand deals. They don't need that. He also changed his name and hyphenated her name in the middle. He's saying that, yes, he's saying that they wanted that they wanted him to sign over the rights to his name before the wedding. What? Like, it sounds to me like this Queen B pissing match and he is stuck in the middle. She is

Kelli (35:15.239)
The Mace.

Kelli (35:32.264)
Yes.

Wendy (35:34.446)
a spice girl. is Victoria Beckham. She thinks that she is who she is. And he's now married to this woman who has best be his number one. And he

Lori (35:44.944)
Yeah, that's something that you really, that's just, that's always a bad play. That's always a bad play because when your son is marrying somebody, that's gonna be his wife. And you better just pass the crown and move it on over because that's always a bad play. It never ends well.

Kelli (35:56.595)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (36:03.475)
And how dare you.

I don't know Mark Anthony obviously, but I am 99.9 % sure that he didn't say on his own to bring up the most beautiful woman in the room talking about the groom's mother. She did that, Victoria Beckham did that. That's wild. That is so wild. That is not your day, that is her day. It's kind of your son's day, but that is her day.

Wendy (36:25.816)
That's crazy.

Lori (36:39.355)
I'm going to tell you from personal experience, I have been to a wedding, was family wedding, and the mother of the bride...

Lori (36:53.839)
had this whole dance with her husband who was, so the daughter was getting married, so the mother of the bride, so the parents of the bride had this whole choreographed dance that they did together and I was just like, at their daughter's wedding and I was just like, what in the world is going on here? And it.

Kelli (37:10.865)
at their daughter's wedding?

Kelli (37:19.933)
That's weird.

Lori (37:20.921)
Yeah, was weird. It was very odd. was just like, you know, when all her friends were like, you know, like, I was just like, no, it would, yeah, I know, but I'm just saying I can see that happening. Like I've been to a wedding where that happens before and you're just like, okay.

Kelli (37:30.685)
But it's not free, like the party's not for you.

Kelli (37:43.998)
I'll tell you what, Tess and I just had a conversation not too long ago and she said something about Eric and I both walking her down the aisle and I said, you know what? I appreciate that and I love that you've said that but I would never take that away from your father. Like I know, like in Eric's mind, that is going to be a huge moment for him and Tess and they're very close.

Lori (38:01.116)
Mm-hmm. Away from your father, right.

Lori (38:10.532)
absolutely. Right.

Kelli (38:12.029)
and they have a very special relationship and I would never, I think that's lovely that she thought that and said that, but I wouldn't for that reason. I might wanna have a dance with her, but she doesn't agree with any song that I suggest. So that's probably not happening either.

Lori (38:18.56)
Right, right. No. Right. But I'm just saying I can see it happen.

Lori (38:29.7)
Yeah, yeah.

Yeah. All right, so what about Bethany? I'm so sorry.

Wendy (38:36.428)
Okay, so, you know, that's okay. She has been diagnosed with stage two chronic kidney disease. And it's in People Magazine and her quote is like, get your blood work done. it's, go get all your blood work done. So I guess it's something they found in her blood work. Yeah. So I, you know, I don't know what specifically that means. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely.

Lori (38:59.343)
Well, we wish her well.

Wendy (39:05.56)
I mean, I also heard that Teddy Mellencamp's dad said that, and we haven't seen her in a while since BravoCon, that she's really not doing that great, which...

Kelli (39:17.371)
I haven't listened to two tees in a long, like I'm saying like probably six months. Has she been doing any podcasts? She hasn't. Then it doesn't sound good. Well, that's very sad. We'll say a lot of prayers for her.

Wendy (39:24.866)
She has not. She has not. No.

Lori (39:31.865)
Yeah, both of them.

Wendy (39:32.3)
Yeah. Yes, exactly. Exactly.

Kelli (39:33.991)
Yeah, both of them, yeah.

Lori (39:35.969)
And the Beckham shit show. Do some prayers for them too. Right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's.

Kelli (39:38.663)
Yeah. Yeah, you're right. You're absolutely right. We should. Because that poor kid, that poor kid, that poor son, he's in the middle.

Wendy (39:39.639)
Yeah.

Wendy (39:48.91)
That's what I think. I think he's stuck in the middle. I think he's stuck in the middle. That's my thought. I think it's sad too. I think it's very sad.

Lori (39:52.196)
Yeah, well.

It is sad.

Kelli (39:56.689)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (39:58.544)
Yep. Because you know what? You're going to mess up for yourself because when your son has kids and you can't get in on it, you're to be sorry. So. Limelight ain't worth it.

Kelli (40:06.291)
That's right. That's right.

Wendy (40:12.268)
Well, as a mother to three sons, it got me thinking, I'll be honest with you, because I could be a little bit much myself. I don't know that I would ever try and steal anyone's thunder, no, no, but I'm just saying I could be a little tough. I could be a little tough.

Kelli (40:17.085)
Sure.

Kelli (40:24.775)
I don't think you would.

I don't think you would.

Lori (40:30.755)
Right.

Kelli (40:31.855)
Yeah, but I don't, you know, I think that when your sons get married, you're going to respect the fact that that is his day with his bride.

Wendy (40:40.572)
absolutely, I'll respect that. Hopefully he marries the right person.

Lori (40:44.761)
Well, there you go. Just try and you well, you know what? You just got to try and steer the direction right in the first place, because once the party's over, once it's a done deal, you know, it's because it ain't just a wedding day. It's all the time after the rest of your life. One would hope.

Kelli (40:45.555)
Fingers crossed, baby, fingers crossed.

Wendy (40:51.776)
Yeah.

I know, I know.

Kelli (40:58.203)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (41:02.326)
It's rest of your life. It's rest of your life.

Kelli (41:05.275)
I'm gonna make you laugh. When Joseph was little, I was watching Real Housewives of New Jersey, and he walked up to the TV and Teresa was on there and he goes, she's so pretty. And I looked at Tess, I was like, I said to Tess, we're gonna hate his wife.

Wendy (41:11.853)
imagine that.
