We Wine Whenever (00:00.78)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever. I'm Wendy. We are talking about Real Housewives of Potomac, Season 9, Episode Number 12, Shake the Devil Off.
Kelli (00:03.582)
I'm Kelly.
We Wine Whenever (00:14.935)
Yep. We start out where we left off with Jacqueline arriving at Karen's house.
Kelli (00:19.839)
you hear the Jaws music in the background? was so good. It was so good. Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (00:22.094)
I did not. that's funny. I missed that. So she shows up with eight heart-shaped balloons that I didn't catch that, but you said that last week. And there was one balloon for each of her citations. She said that they were so that we could let them go to lift the weight of the citations off of her shoulders. But we all know that that is not true.
That was just her being shady.
Kelli (00:52.755)
Yeah, because honestly, even if it were true, you were not invited to this party. So this is not the time to do it. If you want to lighten Karen's load and let these citations go, pick a different venue, pick a different event, because you weren't invited to this one. So whatever you do is gonna look shady.
We Wine Whenever (00:58.167)
Right.
right.
We Wine Whenever (01:09.934)
Right.
Absolutely, especially considering like you said she wasn't invited I mean her response was she came with light and love in her heart because she thought her and Karen were in a different place Well, if you and Karen were in a different place, you would have been invited you
Kelli (01:16.288)
Yeah.
Kelli (01:24.947)
Exactly. You know where you stand with her. She told you at the boutique. I don't fuck with you.
We Wine Whenever (01:29.174)
Right, right, exactly, Ray walks her off the property and the ladies sit down to eat and Stacey points out that Jacqueline did not come with love. She brought the balloons for each of the citations. And Giselle is like, my gosh, I had no idea. And she didn't, she really didn't. You could see that she didn't. She thought it was like, okay, like you're coming, you know.
Kelli (01:56.969)
Yeah, she's like I just took my balloon
We Wine Whenever (01:59.05)
Right. Exactly. I thought she was coming with love. There were heart balloons, right?
Kelli (02:06.851)
And Mia was trying to defend her. I would have told Mia to leave.
We Wine Whenever (02:08.917)
Well, of course Mia was, it was Mia's, she should have, because Mia's the one, one who gave her the address and two who told her to come because she tried to invite her. know, Jacqueline is Mia's puppet. And I've been saying this, she is Mia's puppet and Mia.
Kelli (02:16.223)
Yes, she did.
Kelli (02:21.812)
Yes, she did.
Kelli (02:26.521)
yeah.
Cause this all goes back to Karen and Giselle saying that Mia wasn't, you know, wasn't doing the right thing by her kids, having an ink around. And like, what was that, the first episode this season? It all goes back to that.
We Wine Whenever (02:36.865)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (02:46.861)
So Giselle says that you know she had no idea that you know she was being shady and after she realized it she's like and then in her confessional she's like listen Jacqueline I was rooting for you girl but now girl you're gone I'm done.
Kelli (03:02.089)
Yep. Yep.
We Wine Whenever (03:04.524)
They're all getting ready for their trip to Panama and
Kelli (03:08.309)
Wait, how about me in the pool twerking first?
We Wine Whenever (03:11.243)
my god, that was so ridiculous.
Kelli (03:13.483)
Thank God nobody's husband was really paying attention. She's just trash. She's just 100 % trash.
We Wine Whenever (03:19.372)
She really is.
We Wine Whenever (03:23.116)
She really is. She really is. Because even Wendy said, look. And he's like, no, Eddie, don't look. When Wendy saw her, she said, no, he wasn't. No, he wasn't. Because that was trash. There was no need for that.
Kelli (03:28.403)
Yeah, I don't think Eddie was looking. I mean, he might've been, but...
Yeah. Yeah, like stop.
We Wine Whenever (03:38.55)
There was no need for that. So they're all getting ready to go to Panama and Jacqueline is invited to Panama. They arrive at the airport one by one and Giselle goes up to Karen and says, are, you know, are we gonna, you know, are we gonna fight referring to Jacqueline? And Karen says that she's not gonna fight that, you know, she's good. And she's just, you know, they're gonna school. They're gonna school Jacqueline.
Kelli (03:47.114)
Yes.
Kelli (04:08.533)
Mmm.
We Wine Whenever (04:09.132)
her and Giselle say they're gonna school Jacqueline. Mia says she needs this trip and that she's arranged for her nanny to watch the kids, which I was glad to hear that she was gonna have a nanny watch the kids. I didn't realize, but both her and Jacqueline use the same nanny. I should have realized that because we kind of knew that from the past and that the kids were gonna be at Jacqueline's house with the nanny, which we find out later.
Kelli (04:29.438)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (04:36.202)
They land in Panama and Wendy lets them know that there's gonna be three villas and that they're each gonna have their own room. Thank goodness, thank goodness. Finally, someone's planning a trip where they don't have to share rooms or bunk beds or bathrooms, right? And she's gonna let them know who's splitting up the villas, like who's gonna be in which villa. We also find out that the ride from the airport to the villa
Kelli (04:44.533)
Thank God she did it right.
Kelli (04:51.339)
Yes.
Kelli (05:04.605)
Ooh, two hours. That's a long ride. But you know what? Most of the girls were wearing nice flowy dresses, which I thought were very comfortable to fly in.
We Wine Whenever (05:05.732)
is two hours.
We Wine Whenever (05:14.89)
Yes, and to sit in the car for two hours. Because I don't know how long the flight was to Panama. I don't know. But two hours in the car. I wouldn't be loving that either, to be quite honest with you.
Kelli (05:16.937)
Yes. Yes.
Kelli (05:28.903)
Hell no.
We Wine Whenever (05:34.494)
So Stacey asks Ashley whether on the ride, like what she meant about Spidey vibes, referring to TJ, she said that he just seemed a little bit off and Stacey says she's not in a position to have a romantic relationship with another man until she gets through the divorce, which I get that. She just came to that conclusion though, after the girls pointed it out to her, you know, when she was going to mediation. They're the ones who said like, you really should not be.
Kelli (05:52.553)
I get it too!
We Wine Whenever (06:03.509)
doing this, right? And I don't know if you if you saw it on social media, but somebody posted and I was like, yeah, it's such a good point. Like if he's such a Christian man, TJ, why is he dating someone who is not divorced yet? It's a very valid point.
Kelli (06:04.491)
Right, right.
Kelli (06:16.969)
Right.
It is a very valid point. I honestly think that he's gay and he just wants to be on TV. This is an opportunity for him and that's what this is all about.
We Wine Whenever (06:29.834)
Yeah.
Kelli (06:31.165)
And I think she was probably like fine, because my soon to be ex-husband doesn't want to film with me anyway. So, and maybe the ex-husband doesn't really want the daughter on too much. I know she was on briefly, but...
We Wine Whenever (06:42.709)
Yeah, I mean, listen, if Stacey's in on it, then I'm more okay with it, but I don't feel like Stacey's in on it. I don't, I really think that Stacey's like oblivious to it. Yeah.
Kelli (06:48.287)
Yeah. you don't?
Kelli (06:54.474)
And to him.
I don't know, I think she's in on it. think whatever arrangement they're at, she's in on it.
We Wine Whenever (07:02.859)
I feel better about it if she isn't on it, but you know, yeah, we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Kelli (07:05.163)
Worse.
Kelli (07:13.749)
Kiorna said that Stacey and TJ had a Christian kiss. I love Laguna.
We Wine Whenever (07:17.414)
Yes, yes, yes.
Ashley admits that she has real feelings for Josh and that she hasn't felt this way about anyone since Michael, which I was surprised to hear. I was very surprised to hear because I really do. I mean, she did love Michael. That was not just, I mean, she likes that dorky white man type. Like that's her type. I mean, I don't. Well, some would say I do actually.
Kelli (07:25.449)
Yeah, that was cute.
Kelli (07:36.746)
Yeah.
Kelli (07:53.141)
I need somebody who can make me laugh, that's all I know.
We Wine Whenever (07:53.611)
Yes, I agree with that. mean, laughter is definitely important. She also said that, you know, she had dinner with him last night and then he drove her to the airport in the morning. Mia says, so he slept over and Ashley laughs. She said that, you know, you know, she had sex with a pool boy. Was he a pool boy? Was she referring to him as a pool boy?
Kelli (08:22.987)
I don't know, I didn't catch that.
We Wine Whenever (08:27.102)
Or maybe, yeah, yeah, they said, Ashley, you had sex with a pool boy. I didn't know that he was a pool boy. I don't know. then, so then they were calling him Jack Harlow. I don't know who Jack Harlow is. Maybe, okay, maybe Jack Harlow is the pool boy. Cause I was like, who's Jack Harlow? Am I supposed to know who this is?
Kelli (08:27.285)
I don't know, I didn't catch the pool boy comment.
Kelli (08:39.787)
I don't either. I'm looking it up right now.
Kelli (08:48.083)
Jack Harlow is either and I meant to look it up.
We Wine Whenever (08:51.242)
So then Wendy says about Jack Harlow, oh, oh, so the Wendy's like, I don't even know if he's as accomplished as, oh, no, he doesn't look like him. No. Then Wendy says, I don't even know if he's as accomplished as Jack Harlow.
Kelli (08:53.291)
Oh, he's a rapper and a singer. Oh, he does not look like him.
Kelli (09:01.707)
He doesn't look like him.
Kelli (09:10.175)
Listen, he got Ashley, so he's accomplished there and she seems very happy. So I don't know why Wendy keeps clowning on him. Yeah, like let it be. Yeah, me too, me too.
We Wine Whenever (09:11.869)
That's right. There you go.
I don't know why either and I'm happy. I'm happy for Ashley. I'm happy for her. So then we find out who the villas are going to be. So villa number one is where Wendy's going to be and she's sharing with Kierna and Mia.
Villa number two is going to be Ashley, Karen, and Jacqueline. I mean, that was shady AF that, and she did it on purpose. Wendy did it on purpose. Right. She totally did it on purpose. Yeah, she did admit it. Putting Karen and Jacqueline in the same villa.
Kelli (09:45.984)
she totally did it on purpose. She admitted.
Kelli (09:54.111)
That was not nice.
We Wine Whenever (09:55.81)
Now, then.
Kelli (09:57.599)
But I am glad she didn't put Mia and Jacqueline together, because I think that they need some separation, those two. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (10:04.198)
I totally agree. No, because they're like Giselle and Robin used to be. Right? The two of them gang up. And then villain number three is Stacey and Giselle.
Kelli (10:10.129)
Absolutely. Yeah.
Kelli (10:20.019)
Which is even more funny because you know Stacey is gonna bug the shit out of Giselle. She's gonna annoy the shit out of her.
We Wine Whenever (10:26.28)
100 %
We Wine Whenever (10:31.6)
And Wendy even says after she, you know, gives out this assignments that, you know, cheers to liberation. Like she did it on purpose. She set them up the way she did on purpose.
So night one, they all go out to dinner to the beach. They know that they're going to the beach, yet some people still wear heels. I don't get that.
Kelli (10:54.953)
Yeah, like come on. And I love heels, but not at the beach. That's a stupid move.
We Wine Whenever (10:56.422)
You're going to the beach. Not at the beach, right?
We Wine Whenever (11:03.603)
So then there's these dancers there and the one dancer, he did appear to be the devil and you know, the devil's dancing with Karen and a lot of the ladies are like, you're gonna dance with the devil. then, yeah, because then they ask, you know, when Victor comes out, like who was that dancer? And they're like, no, he was the devil. I'm like, he was the devil. Okay. And.
Kelli (11:18.155)
That was some foreshadowing,
Kelli (11:27.973)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (11:33.894)
They say, you kind of gravitated to Karen and Karen said, yeah, she feels the darkness upon her. Like she like leaned into it. But she was referring to Jacqueline as being the devil. No, Karen, that's not really how that works actually. Like when Karen does stuff like that, I'm like, she's just stupid.
Kelli (11:54.301)
You know what it is? just like my mother would say, she just thinks who she is. Like, you know, she's Karen Huger. She's the Grand Dame. all right, you gotta like pedal it back a little bit. Like what she says, she's gonna press charges on Jaclyn for trespassing.
We Wine Whenever (11:59.494)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (12:05.829)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (12:11.28)
Well, she says that they're looking into it. They're investigating it. Yeah.
Kelli (12:14.355)
Yeah, well, you might want to just focus on, well, we know what happened now. It's all,
We Wine Whenever (12:20.55)
Yeah. We're going to get there very shortly. Cause then Giselle says to Jacqueline that showing up at Karen's house with the eight balloons for eight citations is effed up in a major way. And we agree with that. That totally was effed up. And Jacqueline says, well, you didn't let me speak about the eight balloons, but they symbolized and I wanted to release them. And we're like, yeah, no. She said I was there to extend the olive branch. And they're like, no. Right.
Kelli (12:23.593)
Yeah, yeah, we'll get
Kelli (12:47.243)
She doesn't need it.
We Wine Whenever (12:48.625)
She does not need it. Karen says, were trespassing at my home and I take my security of my family very seriously. It was you and Ray. I mean, you and Ray, that's your family there. was you and Ray.
Kelli (12:57.075)
You're right.
You even said yourself you have no dogs. It was you and me.
We Wine Whenever (13:03.065)
Right, right. And you're going through the process of pressing charges for trespassing.
But then, but then she doubles down and says, releasing balloons into the atmosphere is illegal because of global warning, because of global warning. I was like, what? Global warming. And then they remind her that she released them for the passing of her mother.
Kelli (13:10.923)
crazy.
Kelli (13:17.586)
yeah!
We Wine Whenever (13:29.912)
I was just like Karen! Karen, come on!
Kelli (13:35.359)
She's the worst, man. She really is. The hypocrisy. my God.
We Wine Whenever (13:38.662)
We Wine Whenever (13:44.134)
It's just...
It's just... I know.
Kelli (13:48.747)
She's very concerned about the environment. She's very concerned with what everyone else is doing to the environment, not her.
We Wine Whenever (13:56.719)
Right, because you can't release balloons into the environment. It's illegal. Wait, wait, who's policing that, Karen? You tell me, are you going to call up the police about that too?
Kelli (14:00.203)
It's illegal.
Kelli (14:06.859)
Was that what she was gonna press charges for?
We Wine Whenever (14:09.988)
Trespassing and the release of balloons. So let's just jump into it because we do know that she was convicted. She was convicted on all of the charges. She was found guilty on all the charges except for reckless driving.
Kelli (14:18.123)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (14:28.437)
Which is crazy to me that that's the one charge she didn't get. I don't know what charges she did get, but she was driving recklessly.
We Wine Whenever (14:32.006)
I know, I wonder...
We Wine Whenever (14:36.816)
DUI, driving while intoxicated, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, and failure to notify authorities of an address change.
Kelli (14:49.323)
was a big thing.
We Wine Whenever (14:50.679)
Yeah, that's weird, right?
Kelli (14:52.553)
Yeah, I think she's gonna go to jail. I think she's gonna see some jail time.
We Wine Whenever (14:55.302)
So the sentencing is on January 29th of 2025. So that is right around the corner.
Kelli (15:03.667)
And I don't think that that's something that they'll put off because of now the, because of the, yeah.
We Wine Whenever (15:06.817)
No, you can't. You can't. You can't put that off. mean, you've already, what are you going to put that off for? There's no reason to adjourn that. There's no, right?
Kelli (15:13.137)
Right. Now, the verdict's in, basically.
We Wine Whenever (15:17.765)
The potential sentence is up to two years in jail.
Kelli (15:22.507)
We Wine Whenever (15:24.218)
Yep.
Up to two years. So we're gonna have to wait and see. I'm sure her attorney's already filed an appeal, but that doesn't affect the sentencing. A guilty verdict is a guilty verdict. And the tapes that came out from that trial were the worst I've seen in a very long time.
Kelli (15:29.387)
Wow.
Kelli (15:37.419)
Probably.
Kelli (15:54.005)
Yeah, they were really bad.
We Wine Whenever (15:56.73)
The body cam footage of the police officers on scene, the footage in the interrogation room in the prison. I mean,
It was bad.
Kelli (16:10.941)
It's amazing, mean, we've all made bad choices. So I'm not, I don't wanna judge, I'm not judging anyone. It is surprising to me, I'll put it that way, that whosoever home she left.
We Wine Whenever (16:18.669)
Right. No, we have.
Kelli (16:29.908)
let her drive.
We Wine Whenever (16:31.013)
Now did she leave a home or did she leave an establishment?
Kelli (16:34.217)
Well, that's a great question because on the on the video she says that she was at a friend's house When they say where were you coming from? She said I was at a friend's house. So you're right Maybe she was at an establishment Maybe she was at a table where you know, if it's a busy place, they don't know how intoxicated you are But I mean she literally could not form a sentence
We Wine Whenever (16:54.511)
She could not form a sentence. And I will tell you this, her only saving grace is that nobody was injured. Because if somebody was injured or God forbid killed because of that accident, wherever she left from, they are now liable as well. They are now liable as well. And she's facing additional charges like manslaughter or vehicular homicide.
Kelli (17:01.352)
Absolutely.
Kelli (17:06.185)
Mm. Mm-mm.
Kelli (17:13.631)
Yeah.
Kelli (17:20.864)
Yeah.
Right. my god.
We Wine Whenever (17:24.654)
You know, I mean, these are serious, serious charges, especially
Kelli (17:28.573)
Yeah, she was definitely lucky in that respect that she only hit a tree.
We Wine Whenever (17:32.781)
especially for someone of her age and with a prior DUI. This is not a one-time mistake. This is a two-time convicted mistake. So we don't even know how many times this mistake has been made. We just know how many times you've been right. Right. And I do think that
Kelli (17:39.552)
Yeah.
Kelli (17:52.779)
She got caught.
Absolutely.
We Wine Whenever (18:02.159)
Her lawyer did a huge disservice to her. I do. Pleading not guilty and taking this to trial and having all this evidence released to the public. Had she pled guilty.
Kelli (18:14.165)
I mean, her attorney had to know that these videos were, I mean, it was discovery. had to produce it. So how do you, how do you claim not guilty when these videos are out?
We Wine Whenever (18:22.628)
Absolutely. Absolutely.
We Wine Whenever (18:33.559)
It just blows my mind. Even if they did not offer a plea deal, which after seeing those videos, I understand why there would be no plea deal. You just plead guilty. You just plead guilty. And you take your punishment. And you take your punishment, which is what Shannon Bedor did.
Kelli (18:35.198)
Yeah.
Kelli (18:44.107)
Yeah.
Yeah. Take your punishment.
Kelli (18:53.567)
Right, feel like her sentencing could be worse because she fought it so hard.
We Wine Whenever (19:02.136)
I feel like it needs to be because she fought it so hard and because she's a public figure and because it's her second offense and because the
Kelli (19:05.216)
Right.
Kelli (19:09.323)
they're gonna make an example out of her, that's for sure.
We Wine Whenever (19:11.862)
and because the videos are out there. The judge has to. The judge doesn't really even have a choice at this point because of everything that's out there.
Kelli (19:13.866)
Yeah.
Kelli (19:18.419)
No, I totally agree. Yeah. that was hard. They were hard to watch those videos. They were hard to watch.
We Wine Whenever (19:29.742)
Yeah.
Kelli (19:31.179)
I mean, partly because of the ridiculousness of her telling him that Andy Cohen gave her the name the Grand Dame. I don't think he did. Yeah. Like, yeah. So.
We Wine Whenever (19:39.682)
It was Giselle.
We Wine Whenever (19:44.068)
And the whole thing about Thomas Jefferson's concubine? What? I mean...
Kelli (19:49.483)
Concubine?
Kelli (19:54.557)
Is that something you want to be admitting to?
We Wine Whenever (19:57.572)
No, not really. No, no, no. And even when she was saying that she would spend a couple years in jail, she was okay with that. Yes, I'll be in jail for one or two years. She said that. I was like, what are you doing? Like she made no sense at all.
Kelli (20:10.334)
she said that.
Kelli (20:18.217)
Yeah. No, that's what I mean. Like you couldn't understand a damn thing she was saying.
We Wine Whenever (20:25.685)
No, no. I just.
Kelli (20:29.545)
Yeah, I think she's definitely going to see some jail time. Maybe not two years, but.
We Wine Whenever (20:33.924)
I would just say, listen, I'm gonna tell you her attorney of records name just so you guys can avoid him. His name is A. Scott Bolden. He was disappointed in the jury's verdict. I'm sure he was. And he plans to fully pursue justice on her behalf. Anyone in the Potomac area?
Kelli (20:45.908)
you
We Wine Whenever (21:01.667)
If you have any kind of criminal charges, please at all costs of yes, because I do not feel as though he did her justice. I really don't. I don't. I'm, you know, we'll have to wait and see what happens on January 29th and we'll be here to report about it. Let's get back to.
Kelli (21:04.907)
Steer clear, steer clear.
Kelli (21:11.435)
No.
Kelli (21:20.607)
Sure will.
I hope the Bravo Docket does one on this.
We Wine Whenever (21:27.027)
I do too. I was listening to Bravo DACA today and I do too. They were talking about the contracts. They were using specifically Leah McSweeney's contract because it was all part of her lawsuit, which is the lawsuit that is still ongoing. So they were breaking down her contract and it's very interesting. It is very interesting the things that are included in that contract and they
Kelli (21:30.251)
What were they talking about? I love them.
Kelli (21:47.947)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (21:55.668)
Her original contract for her first season was 2019 and then they compared it to the next contract. And then they compared it to a contract from a Miami housewife that had happened prior and how the contracts have evolved. And they explain the whole Beckany clause in detail. And they talk about that they have a bunch of other things that they want to talk about, like the James Kennedy and a bunch of other things. So
Our listeners should listen to Bravo Docket because we really enjoy the legal side of this whole thing. And we love to hear it from Bravo fans who are actual attorneys that can explain it to us right.
Kelli (22:30.047)
Yeah.
Kelli (22:34.953)
Right, that's what they are. Yeah, like they're as passionate about these shows as we are, but they have, you know, the legal knowledge. I mean, I've worked for lawyers for 20 years, but I can't break it down like them. Yeah, I love to hear it.
We Wine Whenever (22:48.596)
Right. No, we love that. We love to hear them. Yeah. So I'm sure that they will give us an update, especially after the sentencing. I can't wait to hear that. But we're gonna get back to this episode. Giselle addresses Mia and says that, you know, we don't bring children up on this platform because of what Mia had said to her at the GNA event about her daughters sneaking in
Kelli (22:57.385)
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, let's get back.
We Wine Whenever (23:16.993)
boys when they were on a trip to the Dominican Republic that she saw on the ring camera. And I agree with her.
Kelli (23:26.955)
I agree with her. I do agree with Giselle. I think that was very messy that Mia did that. I think it was uncalled for. think that anybody who has teenagers knows that this is the shit that goes on. But Giselle saying to her, you can't bring kids into it after her and Karen brought Mia's kids into it at that birthday lunch. That's not a good defense for Giselle. Giselle should have come at it in a different way. You can't say to her,
We Wine Whenever (23:37.058)
Teenage behavior, absolutely.
Kelli (23:56.895)
You don't bring kids into it. You just brought her kids into it. So come up with a different defense because I do agree with Giselle. I think it was low down, but Mia did.
We Wine Whenever (24:04.33)
Right. Right. Right. Now I agree. I agree with Giselle. What she did was low down. It's funny because Mia doesn't use that as the defense. She used as the defense what happened about them telling her about Gordon at the GNA event, having a hard time and his outburst with her in ink and then her posting on social media.
the picture on Father's Day with her children and the two of them together. That's the example that she used, like you brought up my children, which wasn't the right example to use. She should have used the example, like you said, in the very beginning at Karen's luncheon, when she said that what you're doing to G is not right and what you did to your children.
Kelli (24:50.365)
Ye- Yeah.
Kelli (24:55.593)
Right. And they're all so hypocritical because here's Mia accusing Giselle of putting only happy things on social media and making your life look perfect. So are you. Do you think Giselle's gonna put something on her social media showing her daughter sneaking a boy into her house? No, come on now. And you're doing the same thing. You're saying how G has these outbursts
We Wine Whenever (25:17.921)
Right, now.
Kelli (25:25.387)
and you never see them coming and we get that. But you're putting on social media this big happy family with all your kids' fathers, you're doing the same thing. They're all hypocritical.
We Wine Whenever (25:36.085)
Right.
They are all hypocritical. They absolutely are. And I don't know if it's true or not, but I did read several different places that both Mia and Gisele asked their producers to leave out footage of Mia calling Gisele's daughters whores.
Kelli (25:59.729)
I thought I saw that too.
We Wine Whenever (26:02.643)
Now, we never saw Mia calling Giselle's daughters whores, but we did see her accusing them of sneaking boys in, which they did do, which Giselle admitted that they did. So I don't know if she actually said the words and they did cut it out.
Kelli (26:05.759)
We did not.
Kelli (26:14.665)
Right. Yeah.
Kelli (26:22.847)
I know. I'm hoping that'll come up at the reunion. If she, I mean, listen, if she said that about Giselle's daughters, but I could see Giselle not bringing it up because she doesn't wanna bring light to it. And that's the smart housewife.
We Wine Whenever (26:26.728)
Yeah, because I saw it in
We Wine Whenever (26:36.827)
a hundred percent. 100%. 100%. Yeah.
Kelli (26:43.581)
If Mia said that, that's fucked up.
We Wine Whenever (26:45.822)
Right, right. So we don't know what was actually said. We only know what we saw and we saw her talk about the ring camera and that's what Giselle addressed. She may have said those other words that we never saw.
Kelli (26:52.522)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (27:04.565)
Just like one of the things that they were talking about on the Bravo docket was one of the things that's in the contract now has to do with anything that someone brings up on camera about like your medical condition or history is fair game, even if it's not you.
And they were referring to the incident that happened with Adrienne Maloof and Brandi bringing up that she had a surrogate. And that never actually aired because Brandi's, because Adrienne's lawyers, that clause wasn't in there. That's something that was added.
Kelli (27:40.425)
Right, I remember, yep.
Kelli (27:52.619)
So messy. Like what if her kids didn't know? Like that's what I was assuming happened. Because you have a story, you make that choice and some people have to make that choice and that's it. But if your kids don't know...
We Wine Whenever (27:53.864)
Right, exactly.
Right. Right. Well, and that's what age, right. Like she has, right. Right. Right. Like you have the right to tell your children in your time of what is going on. Absolutely. They were young. And then they brought up the whole thing about like Gordon, saying that, you know, he was bipolar, but he said it. He's the one who said it. And then
Kelli (28:11.241)
Right, of course. Sure. And her kids were young.
Kelli (28:25.929)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (28:26.565)
Mia continues to perpetuate it with her description of his behavior and how you don't know what you're going to get. Kind of like Dorit with PK. So, it's interesting. Like I said, the whole legal side of this and the contracts that these women sign, and they were also saying, and we've said this before too, is a different contract depending on the production company.
Kelli (28:35.275)
Kind of like Doreen with PK.
We Wine Whenever (28:53.863)
So each production company has their own contract. So it's an evolution based on what they find and what they want to do.
Kelli (29:02.077)
Right. Interesting.
We Wine Whenever (29:04.904)
It's very interesting. It really is. But Mia's defense is that, you know, she grew up in a non-traditional way and that she grew up in foster care and that she celebrates everyone who acted as a mom in her life. And she wants to do the same for her children. Anyone who is a father figure in her children's life should be celebrated as a father. And this happened to be a father's day post
about celebrating fathers. So honestly, when she explains it that way, it makes sense. It makes sense. I don't think that, again, I don't think me is that bright to be like thinking this through all the way to come up with this. I think that that really was her rationale for doing the post. I don't think it was that premeditated because I don't think she's, like I said, that bright. Wendy says,
Kelli (29:39.627)
Yeah, it does it does
Kelli (29:54.143)
Yeah, I agree.
We Wine Whenever (30:04.465)
at this point, she says she's going to, I don't know if she said this in her confessional or she said it to her face, but she said she's going to meet Mia where she's at. So she's going to accept Mia for who she is. And I think Wendy is one of the brighter ones in this group. So the fact that she's the one who's saying, I'm going to meet you where you're at. If this is what you're telling me, then this is what, this is fine. This is where you're going to be. I'm not going to question it. I'm not going to question what you do if this is what you want to.
Kelli (30:19.327)
Yes, I agree.
Kelli (30:28.395)
All right. All right.
We Wine Whenever (30:33.727)
put out there, then this is what you're going to put out there and I'm going to be okay with it. And honestly, I think that's the way it should be handled at this point, especially in this group, because like I said, we're not really dealing with rocket scientists here. And there's children involved. Like, like there's children involved. Like, let's just move on, right?
Kelli (30:37.259)
All right.
Kelli (30:50.773)
Exactly, exactly.
Right. But in the same sense, Mia's gotta stop with the other nonsense. yeah.
We Wine Whenever (31:00.977)
100%. And I think Gisele did put a stop to that with her, with her, you know, confronting her.
Kelli (31:07.113)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (31:10.322)
So the next morning, Jacqueline and Karen are sitting at the table together and then Jacqueline asks one of the servers if you could take a picture of her outside. And of course he's like, okay. And then Ashley pops her head out of the balcony. She's like, you're asking this man to take your picture? And she's like, well, who was I gonna ask? Karen, it was only me and Karen out there. So Karen pops out there. She's like, all right, I'll take your picture. That was weird.
Kelli (31:35.403)
She's like the Brittany from Salt Lake City of Potomac. She's just trying so hard to be relevant and people are like, just not getting it.
We Wine Whenever (31:40.318)
She really is. She really is. Yeah, like Lily, yeah. It's so true. It's so true.
Kelli (31:49.161)
She hasn't had her, but guys, what about me moment yet, but I feel like it's coming.
We Wine Whenever (31:54.397)
But yeah, I mean, but she does it with her actions. She doesn't actually say the words, but her actions say it, right?
Kelli (31:58.229)
She does do it with her actions.
Kelli (32:02.879)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (32:04.989)
So then, like we said, Karen takes the picture of her, but we know it's not a good picture because it's Karen, so...
Kelli (32:12.981)
She probably got the phone flipped up to the sky.
We Wine Whenever (32:15.933)
Right. So then Wendy comes out with her gift bags for all the ladies with all their names on the bags and they've got the Panama rum in them and their Stanley cups with their names on them. And they're going to do a tasting of rum and then they're going to do dinner in the city. So this sounds like a nice day. But Mia's not there when all this is going on and they're like, wait, where's Mia? And then
Kelli (32:17.323)
She's like, it looks great.
Kelli (32:37.237)
Sure.
We Wine Whenever (32:45.937)
We find out, because we see Mia finds out that last night Gordon came and picked up the kids from Jacqueline's house because he didn't want the kids staying with the nannies and he didn't return with the kids. And they don't, I don't think she knows where the kids are, right?
Kelli (33:02.517)
She said they are in another state four hours away and he's not with them anymore. So where the hell did he bring them?
We Wine Whenever (33:08.06)
So, yeah. Right. And why isn't he with them?
Kelli (33:15.199)
Right, like he just dropped them off somewhere. I'm sure with a family member, I'm sure he didn't put them in danger, but then why would you leave? Why'd you take them and then leave them?
We Wine Whenever (33:24.614)
to write.
Right. So next, next episode is going to be interesting because Mia is trying not to panic, which I get. I mean, I would be, I'd be panicked. I would be panicked. I can't even imagine. And I honestly, I feel for the, the nanny, like, like what was the nanny to do?
Kelli (33:47.488)
Yeah.
Right, right.
We Wine Whenever (33:51.686)
Like the father shows up. I don't know. I think that this is a bad situation.
Kelli (33:58.635)
real bad.
We Wine Whenever (34:00.668)
We're have to wait and see what happens. I don't, I'd be very surprised if we see Karen at the reunion.
Kelli (34:02.667)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (34:10.837)
You don't maybe maybe like virtual.
We Wine Whenever (34:13.795)
No, there's no way her attorney will let her attend this reunion.
Kelli (34:17.963)
Well, she can't answer any questions about it.
We Wine Whenever (34:20.412)
She's not going. She's not been sentenced yet. They're going to do that reunion before she's sentenced. And I think once you sentence, you should go away that same day.
Kelli (34:23.519)
Right.
Kelli (34:27.051)
They have to, right? If we're on, well, if we're on episode 12.
Kelli (34:37.387)
Typically, yeah, I would imagine. I mean, Teresa and Joe didn't.
We Wine Whenever (34:38.426)
Right? So.
Well, that's because it was two people involved.
and there were small children involved.
Kelli (34:49.353)
But remember they let her.
We Wine Whenever (34:51.686)
There was small children involved and there was two parents involved. Karen doesn't have either of those circumstances. She should be taken away on her sentence. If she's going to prison, it should happen on her sentencing day. She should be prepared to be sentenced to jail based on what the sentence could be for the charges that she was found guilty of. That's crazy. There is no way.
Kelli (34:53.248)
Yeah.
Kelli (34:58.079)
Right, right.
Kelli (35:05.887)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (35:19.696)
that Karen is going to be at this reunion. There's no way.
Kelli (35:24.233)
I wonder what's gonna happen to her. Like I know it's so different, like the charges, but you know, Jen Shah, like they cut her off. I mean that poor bitch tried to get into BravoCon. they wouldn't let her into BravoCon.
We Wine Whenever (35:33.498)
Well, they didn't cut her off, no. They wouldn't let her into BravoCon because she refused to do an interview.
Kelli (35:47.989)
That's bullshit right there.
We Wine Whenever (35:49.369)
That's why they wouldn't let her in because she refused to do a last interview with Andy.
Kelli (35:55.475)
Why? That's not in her contract. That wasn't in her contract. So why, like, why got her off for that? I bet you that's in the contracts now. Yep. Yeah. But I mean, why, you know, that's her. I don't know. I don't agree with that.
We Wine Whenever (36:00.837)
Well, that's why.
Well that's the whole thing now they have all these you know all these what ifs so then now everything's in the contracts right?
We Wine Whenever (36:15.715)
I mean, she didn't have her court date yet during BravoCon. Right? Had she pled guilty is my question.
Kelli (36:24.427)
I don't think she had pled guilty now. Well, I don't know, maybe.
We Wine Whenever (36:29.509)
I don't know if she did either. Because by the time of the, she wasn't at the reunion. I don't remember. I honestly, I don't remember. I don't know why I should, but I just don't. But I know that that was a big bone of contention is that she would not meet with Andy and do one final interview.
Kelli (36:36.234)
No.
Kelli (36:47.787)
Peace.
We Wine Whenever (36:49.081)
Right. And I can't imagine that Karen will either.
Kelli (36:52.651)
I don't think she will. Well, who knows? She might actually.
We Wine Whenever (36:54.415)
But I did hear that Meredith has been in touch with Jen Shah via telephone.
Kelli (37:01.161)
Yeah. Do you think they'll bring her back?
I mean, people are actually saying that online.
We Wine Whenever (37:09.348)
I wouldn't be surprised at this point. I mean, they bought back Teresa. I mean, once you do your time, you do your time.
Kelli (37:11.019)
wouldn't be surprised either.
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (37:18.517)
Sure.
We Wine Whenever (37:21.466)
I feel like if they bring back Jen, they gotta bring back Monica.
Kelli (37:26.737)
now you're talking. I mean...
We Wine Whenever (37:28.512)
Right? I mean, you're gonna do it. You might as well do it right.
Kelli (37:33.237)
They got, they have to do that. How could they not do that? They have to bring Jen and Monica back on at the same time. And please, for the love of God, get rid of Brittany.
We Wine Whenever (37:46.042)
I'd say get rid of Meredith and Lisa.
Kelli (37:48.457)
Okay, them too. I don't even care. Like, I just, now, and now I just... I can't stand her and that guy Jared. I really can't.
We Wine Whenever (37:49.658)
I don't mind Brittany. I'd rather have Brittany. She'll get lost anyway. She will get lost. Listen, if Jen Shaw and Monica are there, Brittany is not even gonna... She's not even gonna have time to say, about me?
Kelli (38:03.753)
You're right. You're right. And those two would just shut her down anyway. I can't believe nobody has yet.
We Wine Whenever (38:09.691)
yeah!
We Wine Whenever (38:13.954)
No, you're right. You're right.
Kelli (38:15.903)
What about me? my God.
We Wine Whenever (38:20.11)
This is going to be interesting.
Kelli (38:21.887)
yeah.
Yeah, I mean, we know now, you know, I don't think,
Kelli (38:34.559)
Yeah, like he could appeal it, but she can still get sentenced in the meantime. And the appeal can go on. I mean, listen, if she's gonna serve jail time, that's in her favor anyway, because if she wins the appeal, it'll be time served and then.
We Wine Whenever (38:39.738)
100 %!
We Wine Whenever (38:52.984)
Yeah, you can't hold off sentencing for an appeal. That's not how it works.
Kelli (38:53.001)
I don't know.
You will.
We Wine Whenever (38:59.033)
We're just going to have wait and see what happens.
Kelli (39:01.577)
Yeah. Yeah. Well, happy new year, everyone.
We Wine Whenever (39:07.13)
Happy New Year, this will be our last episode until next year. So we'll see you on the other side in 2025. Thank you for watching and listening, bye.
Kelli (39:10.975)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (39:14.784)
Yeah.
Kelli (39:18.453)
Bye.
