She's not exactly sure how her mother feels. just, you know, feels like she can't be open to her mom about

her relationship with a woman. you know, she thinks that her mother's homophobic, which I don't know that her mother is homophobic. I just think she doesn't know how to handle the situation.

And I do think that she should be making her daughter feel more comfortable in this situation, but it is interesting that it was just the two of them when Raquel was growing up.
