Real Housewives and Real Problems: Loyalty or Leverage?

The episode begins with lingering tension as Mia claims Karen butt-dialed her and made comments questioning her loyalty to her husband Ray back in 2021. Karen dismisses the accusation and claims she doesn’t remember. Stacey supports Karen, saying she deserves a “trophy” for enduring constant scrutiny.

As the group celebrates Wendy's birthday with a heartfelt midnight toast, Mia and Jacqueline later discuss Mia’s complicated relationship with Gordon. Mia opens up about feeling pressured to support him financially, sparking a candid exchange about loyalty and dependence.

The drama escalates during a brunch when Mia brings up Kierna’s past relationship with a drug dealer, leading to a heated confrontation about everyone's past. Tensions reach a peak when Ashley asks Kierna about a visible scar, which Kierna finds offensive and stormily exits. Karen stirs the pot by questioning Jacqueline’s relationship with her "Parental Partner" and his criminal record, prompting a strong reaction from Jacqueline as she defends her loyalty.

Stacey then tells Karen about a conversation suggesting she needs rehab, setting up further conflict among the group as Karen feels betrayed by the suggestion. The episode closes with unresolved tensions and the Housewives reflecting on loyalty, judgment, and the struggles of keeping their friendships intact.

We Wine Whenever (00:01.12)
Hi, welcome to We Why Whenever. I'm Wendy. We are talking about Real Housewives of Potomac, season nine, episode number five. A blast, I know that's how I feel, a blast from everyone's past. So I have to be honest with you, I'm a little bit disappointed with the way this went, because we pick up where we left off last week, where Mia drops the bomb about

Kelli (00:03.831)
I'm Kelly.

Kelli (00:10.734)
Wow, five episodes already, huh? Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (00:26.158)
how they're out in DC with Karen in 2021 and she butt dials them and she says, they, the girls think I'm out with Ray and I'm not. And then Karen says, I don't remember that. And Karen said, had I been drinking? She questions. And Mia said, yeah, we were all drinking. And then

Kelli (00:48.686)
and Karen got in her car to drive.

We Wine Whenever (00:50.379)
Karen says she got in her car to drive and then she pulled over and called her driver, which we know is blue eyes, right? Right. As Giselle would say. Yeah. So listen, the fact that it was from 2021 and she's just bringing it up now. And she says, because then they're like, why are you bringing it up now? She said, because

Kelli (01:00.01)
That's the word on the streets, as Karen would say.

Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (01:17.344)
Karen was going for my girl Jacqueline saying that she lied. And Karen's like, well, she did lie. I mean, I don't think she did lie, but I don't think she lied. And I just think that that's not, I was expecting way more than what that was. Cause that was just kind of swept under the rug, right? Did you, mean, that was nothing.

Kelli (01:27.066)
don't think you lied either.

Kelli (01:36.799)
Absolutely. It was nothing. And it was two years ago, or three years ago, 2021.

We Wine Whenever (01:41.109)
Right.

Well, I think they were filming in 2023. mean, we're just seeing, maybe it was the beginning of the year. don't even know when they're, yeah. You know, whatever it was, was exactly, exactly. No, she's being messy. I mean, really messy.

Kelli (01:50.818)
It was long enough ago to not bring it up.

I'm not loving Mia this year.

Kelli (02:01.58)
Yeah, I agree. I think she's really feeling herself with this ink.

We Wine Whenever (02:06.111)
Yeah. So then, you know, after that whole thing gets squashed, Mia asks Karen if this is affecting her marriage, the DWI. And Karen says, no, Ray has her back and he didn't waver at all. And then after they kind of like break it up, Stacey says to Karen, like, you need a trophy. They come for you every five minutes. And they do. They really do.

Kelli (02:31.843)
Yeah.

Yeah, she's not wrong.

We Wine Whenever (02:35.996)
No, they do. I actually like, wasn't sure about Stacy, but so far I'm kind of liking Stacy. I'm still not sh-

Kelli (02:43.211)
I think that there's something to her story that's not adding up though.

We Wine Whenever (02:48.338)
No, I agree with that. I agree with that. I'm still going to give her a chance. I mean, we're only five episodes in. Then we see Ashley's is she goes and she's talking to me and Jacqueline and about what's going to happen when Karen wakes up in the morning. Like they think that something is going to change, but nothing changes. We see that she wakes up in the morning, nothing changes. And then Stacy's FaceTiming with TJ and Wendy walks in while she's on the phone and they're talking and

Kelli (02:51.642)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (03:16.817)
I thought the conversation was a little weird because TJ said to her, cause he FaceTimed her, like, I wanted you like to, you know, be honest with these girls and like have like a comradery with them because I guess he's seeing, like she said, she doesn't really have any girlfriends. Cause she said she'd never been on a girls trip before. And he's like, I want you to be like honest with them about what's going on between us. And I wasn't really sure what she meant, what he meant about that.

Kelli (03:32.216)
Yeah.

Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (03:44.967)
you know, because she's telling us one thing and I wonder if it's the same thing that's really going on.

Kelli (03:49.4)
Right, that's what I mean. It's like, it's all cryptic. It's all cryptic with them.

We Wine Whenever (03:52.017)
It's, it is, it is cryptic. So, you know, he wishes a happy birthday to Wendy and he gets to meet Jassy. comes out to say hi to him too. And yeah, she is cute. and I did like that they decided to all wait up for Wendy's birthday. Like that was night cause it was her 40th and that's a big number. It's not like it was her 41st like,

Kelli (04:05.306)
It's cute, Jassy.

Kelli (04:15.372)
Yes, that was nice.

We Wine Whenever (04:22.546)
Jessel, right? New York. Like it was a momentous one. It was her 40th. Like you wait up for the 40th. You wait up for the 60th. Right. It was definitely a milestone. So then Wendy stands up and says, every birthday in her adulthood she spent out of the country. And this has been the most special birthday because they, you know, they all stayed up with her, which I think she was sincere about that, you know?

Kelli (04:28.482)
Yeah, yeah, it was a milestone. Yes.

Kelli (04:49.006)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (04:49.222)
She wasn't sure about going on a girls trip because she's not used to not being with her family. And I get that because, you know, it is a milestone. Then we see the day two at Lake Norman. Me and Jacqueline are talking about, they're outside at the pool and that, you know, they're sitting at the poolside and they're talking about Mia saying how she woke up to Gordon, like firing off all these text messages to her.

Kelli (04:57.976)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (05:16.262)
and Jacqueline is telling her that she has to stop telling him that she loves him because she's kind of misleading him.

Kelli (05:23.47)
Yeah, I mean, I can see why she would tell him that she loves him. I'm sure she still does. But if he's not over her, which according to Jacqueline now, we know he's not, that's definitely stringing him along. But she is sleeping with another man. Like, the writing's on the wall, G.

We Wine Whenever (05:32.24)
Right. Right.

We Wine Whenever (05:38.706)
Right.

Right. I mean, I completely agree. I agree with what Jacqueline is saying. know, Mia feels like that she's trying to support him and she is trying to support him. But he's saying that like, you're just keeping me around to make your life easier. And then Jacqueline's like, well, I kind of agree with him. And she's like, but why? Like, and then we find out that Mia is paying for everything. Like he, she doesn't have any money anymore.

Kelli (06:09.22)
Jackalot said he is the nanny.

We Wine Whenever (06:11.142)
Right, like, mean, they are his children. They are his children.

Kelli (06:13.454)
Yeah, exactly, exactly. And if she's paying for everything then...

We Wine Whenever (06:18.928)
Right, right.

Kelli (06:20.558)
I mean, can he not, I mean, I guess we don't really know this, but can he not work because of his mental health issues?

We Wine Whenever (06:27.314)
I think that that's the case. It's hard to work with bipolar disorder. I mean, he was in the family business and I think they kind of kicked him out of it, right? So what is he gonna do? I mean, he's not like a spring chicken. What is he gonna do? you know, he's not in a place to be working. But honestly, if he's not in a place to be working, is he in a place to be taking care of your small children? Right?

Kelli (06:29.826)
Sure, sure, of course. Yeah.

Kelli (06:37.7)
Yes they did.

Kelli (06:41.561)
Right.

Kelli (06:54.306)
I don't know. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (06:57.345)
I mean, that's actually what I would be more concerned about, to be quite honest with you. Not what's going on in front of him with ink, but is he okay to be taking care of your children alone if his mental health is not there?

Kelli (07:09.56)
Right. Right.

We Wine Whenever (07:12.932)
So then we see the angel and adore cap and gown ceremony, which by the way is a graduation. I didn't, I didn't either. I don't know why they call it that.

Kelli (07:18.2)
I know, I didn't know that. I thought it was something different.

I know. Who knew?

We Wine Whenever (07:25.248)
I didn't know. that was very nice. And Jamal takes a moment to honor pops. Yeah. And Giselle in her confessional, she's like, she did it. You know, my kids are amazing. And I think she, she should applaud herself because she, she does have amazing girls. They are amazing. They are accomplished or, you know, all in college and she was a single mom. I don't care what you say. Like Jamal was a dog. She did it and she should.

Kelli (07:29.828)
That was very nice, I thought.

Kelli (07:39.588)
for sure.

Yeah.

Kelli (07:49.218)
Yeah, for sure, for sure. I mean, I'm sure he showed up at the, you know, like this stuff, but he was in a different, you know, state for crying out loud.

We Wine Whenever (07:54.66)
Alright, the milestones.

We Wine Whenever (07:59.832)
Yep. And then the next morning it's actually Wendy's birthday and they're all at the table and they still have the chef there and he's serving them food and mimosas, which that's nice. Like I'd like to go away and have a private chef.

Kelli (08:13.75)
my gosh, me too.

We Wine Whenever (08:16.1)
She said they asked her like what she wants to do this year now that she turned 40 and she said that she'd like to go skydiving Also Ashley did it

Kelli (08:25.434)
Did hear what Ashley said? Ashley went skydiving on their first or second date. One of them. That's crazy.

We Wine Whenever (08:29.896)
Yeah, exactly. I don't remember which, right, with, yeah, that is crazy. And then she went on to talk about how the sex was as well, after the skydiving.

Kelli (08:35.855)
Meh.

Kelli (08:41.97)
yeah, nobody wants that visual Ashley. Nobody wants that visual, please. Don't say it again.

We Wine Whenever (08:44.917)
No, why does she tell us that? I don't know why she tells us that. And exactly, then Giselle calls and she says she's at the airport and she's on her way back.

And then they're still sitting at the table and Kiana's like, I think Karen needs a break, you know, cause they're still coming for her. And Jazzy's like, yes, Jacqueline, and Mia, both of them, both of them. Then Mia starts going after Kiana's ex-boyfriend. Like, where did that come from? Calling him a drug dealer.

Kelli (09:03.896)
Yeah. Well, Jacqueline.

Kelli (09:09.505)
And Mia. Right, right.

Kelli (09:21.53)
I'm a drug dealer.

and then Karen.

We Wine Whenever (09:26.82)
Kiana says, but then Kiana says, about your past? And Mia's like, yeah, I was a stripper. And she does own it.

Kelli (09:33.114)
Yeah, she does own it, she always has. But then Karen drops the bomb on...

Kelli (09:42.647)
on Jacqueline's Peter.

We Wine Whenever (09:45.911)
PP. Yeah. So actually just before that happens, just before that happens,

Kelli (09:46.905)
Yep.

We Wine Whenever (09:57.282)
Ashley

Jazzy says, so we've all ruined enough people's birthdays, but then Ashley asks Kiarna about her scar and Kiarna loses it. She's like, you of all people shouldn't ask me. And Ashley's like, listen, you said you had a skincare line. I just thought like, I didn't really see it. And I just thought like, it's your product, like, and I honestly do believe that that is what Ashley was doing. I don't think.

Kelli (10:07.098)
yeah.

Kelli (10:23.074)
No, she wasn't. Mia was on Watch What Happens Live and Andy asked her if thinks she was being shady and she was like, she was being shady.

We Wine Whenever (10:29.572)
okay, so I didn't see that. Okay. Okay, so she walks out screaming, Kiorna walks out of the room screaming, like, don't ask me about my scar. And I was like.

Kelli (10:32.12)
Yeah

Kelli (10:38.976)
As she should. It was your Sesame Street friend who gave her the damn scar.

We Wine Whenever (10:43.712)
Right. It was, it was. And then that's when Karen says, okay, I'm going to be a little bit messy and asked Jacqueline, aren't you trying to work it out with Mr. PP? And we find out PP, which Jacqueline has named him, stands for parental partner. And because he has a big PP, she says, we are moving in a positive direction, both with the children and, you know, us. And Karen said, well, is that after the 25 convictions he had against him?

And she's like, he was charged and fired. And Kiana's like, yeah, well, it was an internal investigation. He was a police officer and he was discharged, but he's now working at another police department, which I will say to you is very odd. And I would love to know what other police department he's working for. And if that other police department knows about those 25 charges, cause if they didn't know then they certainly know now.

Kelli (11:28.728)
Very odd.

Kelli (11:39.266)
Yep. I can't believe Jacqueline started like going into detail about what it was.

We Wine Whenever (11:44.646)
Well, we don't really, I mean, what was it?

Kelli (11:48.234)
I mean, not, but even just what she said, like, that even that he was a police officer, like I wouldn't have gone that far. wouldn't have said anything like that.

We Wine Whenever (11:50.736)
Yeah, yeah.

Yeah.

No, I wouldn't have either. I would not have either. And then, you know, she said that she stood by him and Mia confirmed that, you know, she is loyal. She has stood by him. And listen, he's the father of her children. So. Right, right.

Kelli (12:10.136)
Right, what else is she gonna do? It's putting food in her kids' mouths.

We Wine Whenever (12:15.206)
And then Jacqueline said, listen, it was six or seven years ago and I can't believe you'd bring up someone who's not even at this table and is the father of my children, which I absolutely agree with.

Kelli (12:26.094)
Yeah, but like Wendy said, Mia's bringing up Kiana's ex saying he was a drug dealer. Like, you can't have it both ways.

We Wine Whenever (12:30.759)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (12:35.089)
Yep. Yep. And they're yelling back and forth at each other, right? And then all of a sudden, Mia's like, okay, let's do a toast. Or Wendy's like, let's do a toast. I was like, wait, what? Like it was just World War II, five seconds ago.

Kelli (12:48.217)
I know.

So Karen was drinking out of a mug and somebody put on social media today, like a picture of the inside of her mug. It looks like orange juice, but they were like, okay, Karen, we know you got a mimosa in there, pretending you were drinking tea or coffee.

We Wine Whenever (13:04.06)
Yeah, because when he asked her if she wanted one, she said no. She said no. Yeah. so at this point, Mia, Jacqueline and Ashley are kind of all supporting each other and they're talking about, you know, Karen's drinking and driving and her court date is in two weeks. And then Stacy walks in and says like,

Kelli (13:08.79)
Exactly.

We Wine Whenever (13:30.468)
She didn't know anything about this because they're like, well, do you know who it is you're supporting here? Like, do you know what Karen has done? And Stacy's like, well, I mean, I don't think so. And then they, they're like, well, you know, we think she needs to go to rehab and she needs help. Like, this is like, this is like an intervention. And Stacy's like, whoa, like I had no idea. Stacy turns around and goes to Karen. She's like, I just had this conversation and

I didn't know about all this and they're saying we need to take you to rehab and we should be worried about you. And I'll tell you what.

Kelli (14:08.122)
She did know about the DUI though. She knew about the DUI.

We Wine Whenever (14:11.15)
I mean, she probably did, but I mean, the number of charges there were, I mean, we looked it up. There was a lot of charges.

Kelli (14:14.58)
the number, yeah, because that's, Yeah, there were a lot.

We Wine Whenever (14:21.412)
So at this point, it's like Wendy, Stacey, Jazzy and Kiana, they're all kind of supporting Karen. And the other three are Ashley and Mia and Jacqueline are like anti Karen. I actually don't have any more notes than that. think that.

Kelli (14:36.11)
Big time.

Kelli (14:39.874)
I'm, as you're winding down, I'm like, I have nothing.

We Wine Whenever (14:43.516)
Yeah, like that was pretty much the end. Like not much more happened after that. And I'm curious to see what happens when Giselle gets there. I feel like she's gonna jump on Mia's side.

Kelli (14:45.784)
Yeah.

Kelli (14:56.506)
don't know if it's gonna start out that way, but obviously we know it's gonna end that way. Like I feel like right now Giselle still like got a soft spot for Karen, even after what she did with the event thing, which was complete bullshit. Karen was so wrong in that, with that. But I do think that obviously it turns. So even if she comes back and tries to defend her, it's not gonna go anywhere. I don't really like that Jaclyn though.

We Wine Whenever (15:11.888)
Yes, yes she was.

We Wine Whenever (15:23.58)
I feel like that.

No, I mean-

Kelli (15:27.288)
I'm not a huge fan.

We Wine Whenever (15:31.836)
Jacqueline isn't a full housewife, right?

Kelli (15:34.018)
No, she's a friend of but I felt like she was campaigning for it when she was like I am a mother I am a did she say she was a business owner. I think she said she was a business owner You know, she was like campaigning

We Wine Whenever (15:49.09)
So do they hold something? I don't think they hold anything of atomic, do they?

Kelli (15:53.498)
I don't think they do.

We Wine Whenever (15:56.972)
Cause it is Kiana a full time? wait, I have the picture behind me. Why don't I just look? Why don't I just look behind me?

Kelli (16:00.773)
yeah. Tell us who's there, Wendy.

Kelli (16:09.486)
I think Kiana's in there. Is Jassy?

We Wine Whenever (16:12.57)
No. No. So Kiana is a full-time housewife.

Kelli (16:17.231)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (16:19.138)
Jassi is not, Stacey is, Mia, Karen, Giselle, and Ashley.

Kelli (16:21.25)
Is Stacy in there? Okay.

So Jassy and Jacqueline are just friends of at this point.

We Wine Whenever (16:30.496)
Yes. Yes, which is interesting.

Kelli (16:33.144)
You know what? I mean, I don't know how you feel, but I do not miss Robin. I think the show is better.

We Wine Whenever (16:37.676)
No.

I do miss Candice.

Kelli (16:42.592)
I miss Candice. I love Candice. I love Candice.

We Wine Whenever (16:48.374)
I miss Candice. Listen, I'm happy that she's found some peace and she's having her, you know, her baby. I think she's probably due pretty soon, right? Yeah. I do think she left on her own. I do think she left.

Kelli (16:53.486)
Yeah.

Kelli (16:57.752)
Gotta be, yeah. I think she left on her own though, don't you?

Because I know a lot of times they say they did, but they didn't, for her, I think she did.

We Wine Whenever (17:07.7)
Yeah, because she had a lot going on and it was like, don't need to be around that toxicity all the time, especially when you're trying to have a baby. Like who needs that?

Kelli (17:13.016)
No way. Right, right. And Ashley was not gonna lighten up at all.

We Wine Whenever (17:20.913)
No, she was not going to back down on this. I was listening to Braav bros today. I haven't listened to them in a while, so they are hating Roni. They hate everything about Roni. They are calling Roni worse than last year's OC. And they're loving OC this year.

Kelli (17:27.598)
I haven't listened to them in a while.

Kelli (17:36.281)
Really?

Kelli (17:41.624)
Wow.

We Wine Whenever (17:46.911)
which I will have to tell you, I don't agree with them at all about either. So when they recapped Rony today, I listened to them recap Rony and neither one of them knew what the clueless beginning was. So, so, not steal shooter was talking about it and he was like, what is that all about? Why is she narrating? Like we're friends and

Kelli (18:02.649)
Okay.

We Wine Whenever (18:12.969)
What is this and but what he had no idea. Like they had no idea about that, which I thought, well, that's interesting because why would they? They're men. discussed that. Like men don't watch Clueless. Even though it was the theme of the party, they had no idea. And the other thing that they had said, like I thought it was interesting listening to them recap it. can't stand, they can't stand Roni. They think, no, mean, Steele was a huge dental lions fan, but now he feels like,

Kelli (18:19.48)
Yeah, right. No, yeah, of course.

Kelli (18:35.192)
Not any of them?

We Wine Whenever (18:42.152)
She's not bringing enough. They did like the one scene with Psy and her family, but they didn't think it was enough because they think that nobody is being, they want more drama. That's, and I don't agree with them. they, they want more drama. They're like, we watch these shows so that we can have a fight. Like, you know, when Jenna and Erin are sitting on the couch, like they work it out, but they never really work it out. Like they want like real drama. And I'm like, that's not why I watch it. I watch it for.

Kelli (18:54.618)
I don't agree with that either.

We Wine Whenever (19:09.586)
the real moments. I watch it for the family time. I watch it for the laughs. I watch it for the real relationships. I don't want the drama and they want the drama, which is why they are loving OC. Cause that's all OC is, is drama. And I don't like that. I like real moments where we get to really see people and who they are. They think that Jenna is only genuine with Raquel.

Kelli (19:12.986)
The relationships.

Kelli (19:18.201)
Right.

Kelli (19:25.496)
Right, because of Tamra.

Kelli (19:31.087)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (19:38.983)
Jenna and Raquel were friends and they think that that's her only true relationship, that she never really was friends with Aaron. Aaron thought more about their friendship than Jenna ever did and that Jenna just folded and said, okay, I'm a bad friend. I'll try and do better. They didn't want that. wanted like a, know, yeah. No, no, and I don't want that. I don't want that. I don't want that. So I totally disagree with them on that. I just think it's interesting.

Kelli (19:55.352)
drag out fight. You're not going to get that from Jenna.

No, me neither.

We Wine Whenever (20:08.4)
You we were saying when we were doing the episodes with Lori, like all three of us have different, we see different things and different things hit us. And then when you get the perspective of two men who really don't see things at all the way we do.

Kelli (20:16.569)
Yeah.

Kelli (20:22.33)
They haven't watched from the beginning, so this is what they think it is and what it started out as and it didn't.

We Wine Whenever (20:29.872)
Well, I agree with that, but shooter was saying that he was going back. He was watching season seven. I don't remember specifically what season seven happened, but he was talking about Roni with Bethany and how he really liked how Bethany was. I've always liked Bethany. I've always been a Bethany fan. I don't think either one of them are Bethany fans today, but how Bethany really like, you know, she was controversial. She would, you know, jump in something and she would be quick with her words and

Kelli (20:45.752)
Yeah.

Kelli (20:49.69)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (20:59.704)
you know, she would battle with them. She wasn't afraid to say what she thought. That being said, I personally think Bethany was authentic in her words. I don't think she was doing it for the show. And I feel like they want the drama for the sake of the drama. They don't want people to be authentic. They want to see the drama. He's like, that's why we watch this is for the drama. And I'm like, that's not why I watch it. I mean,

Kelli (21:09.4)
I do too.

Kelli (21:24.056)
No, for sure, for sure not.

We Wine Whenever (21:26.436)
I mean, there may be some people that do watch it for that, but that's not why I'm watching it.

Kelli (21:32.728)
Yeah, you know when I felt bad for Bethany when she and Carol stopped being friends? When Carol kind of flipped on her, you know? And I didn't really know what that was about.

We Wine Whenever (21:41.274)
I agree.

We Wine Whenever (21:45.048)
Yeah, I think Carol-

I don't 100 % know what that was about either, but I think Carol is one of the few that has left the franchise and has not ever said anything positive about it. you know, she left it.

Kelli (21:58.23)
that's for sure. Remember she said to Andy in the reunion, but he's scared of her too. And he was like, yeah, I'm scared. yeah, I'm scared of her. As soon as as soon as he said that to her, I'm like, we'll never see her again. Not that she wanted to come back anyway.

We Wine Whenever (22:09.997)
No, no, she wasn't coming back. And I remember they tried to get her to like do something for the book or something. And she's like, no, like I'm not like his roses and what was his book? Diamonds and Rosé. No, no, but she's never said, since she's left the show, she's not ever said one thing positive about it. And I think that she stands true that her friendship with Bethany is over. Like that's one friendship that will never come back.

Kelli (22:20.864)
diamonds and rosé. I never finished that.

Kelli (22:38.862)
I think, if I remember correctly, Tinsley came on the show and Carol and Tinsley really hit it off and they started spending time together and I think that that started it. Because Bethany and Carol were vacationing together, like they were going a lot of places together.

We Wine Whenever (22:51.33)
You think it could?

We Wine Whenever (22:56.844)
Yeah, when it wasn't on camera either, right? They were, they absolutely were. They absolutely were.

Kelli (22:59.256)
Right, right, even off camera. So then when Tinsley came on and Carol and she formed a friendship, maybe Bethany felt a little iced out, who knows? I've always thought Bethany was very authentic on the show though. And I think that that's why Andy loved her so much. So it's a damn shame that Andy can't give her, I don't think she's doing anything wrong with what she's doing. I think she's being honest with this whole reality reckoning. Because we've said it as well.

We Wine Whenever (23:09.453)
I don't know.

Kelli (23:28.078)
the producers are not your friend. They're not trying to show you in a good light. They're just trying to make good TV at your expense. And that's basically what Bethany's saying. Look at Brandi Glanville. I feel very sorry for her. I've said for years she should blame Bravo production for anything that happens to her because they encourage her to do the

We Wine Whenever (23:34.55)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (23:37.92)
Right, right.

We Wine Whenever (23:45.472)
I do too.

Kelli (23:57.154)
worst things drink drink drink drink and be bad be bad be bad and they've done it to her for years and it started with Beverly Hills.

We Wine Whenever (24:06.932)
Now I 100 % agree and I don't know who was talking, maybe it was Heather McDonald was talking about it. You know, her attorney dropped her for the Bravo suit and that was Mark Garagos, who's also the attorney for the Menendez brothers. And he was also the attorney. He's like, he's a, you know, he's a famous, he's a famous Hollywood attorney. And you know, Heather was saying, and I kind of agree, like he wouldn't drop the case.

Kelli (24:26.851)
is an LA guy.

We Wine Whenever (24:36.35)
if there was merit, but I feel like there is merit. I don't underst- I think that that, I think that that's sad if that's really what happened. I think that that's sad because you know what? Like Brandi has said, put the show out there. Let's see the footage. Like, I don't know why- What did Tamar say? about Vicky? About Vicky?

Kelli (24:39.128)
I feel like there's merit too and I think he just got paid off.

Kelli (24:55.396)
Well, did you see what Tamara said? Tamara said that Vicki sent her a picture of Brandy on top of Caroline and Caroline trying to get her off.

We Wine Whenever (25:04.971)
Straddling her. Straddling her. Yes. Yes.

And why are we just finding this out now? Like, why are we just finding?

Kelli (25:15.458)
I think because Tamra wants to try to get some credibility back and she knows that, you know, this is a hot topic and I haven't heard Vicki come out and say it's not true though.

So there must be some validity to it. Because if not, Vicky would be like, you're full of shit. I did not do that.

We Wine Whenever (25:28.435)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (25:35.987)
Yeah, I don't know. Listen, we have a lot coming up too. know, Beverly Hills is coming up. Atlanta's coming up. Southern charm is coming up.

Kelli (25:46.638)
Yeah, I'm not, I don't know if I can do it, Lana. I'll see, I'll see. No, I'm not too, I like Phaedra too. I don't know what she did to Candy, but I don't know how, I'm watching it, obviously, but I don't know how excited I am about Southern Charm. First of all, I'm very upset that they did not bring Olivia back, but they brought Taylor back. I don't know why they're bringing Taylor back.

We Wine Whenever (25:50.075)
you've never done Atlanta, right?

Phaedra's back. I love Phaedra.

Kelli (26:13.39)
Taylor is so clearly still in love with Shep, it's not even funny. I know she's got a boyfriend, but I don't like her. You basically, think she either, I mean, she definitely tried, but she possibly could have had sex with Whitney, because he would screw anybody, he don't care. There's no bro code there with him. She definitely screwed Austin. To what? To try to get Shep back? Like, what are you doing? There's something wrong with her.

We Wine Whenever (26:30.725)
No. No.

Kelli (26:40.162)
I'm not excited they brought her back and I'm not excited. I'm very upset that they didn't bring Olivia back because she was a nice person and a genuine person.

We Wine Whenever (26:51.93)
No, I agree. I agree with that. And listen, you know, I didn't watch Southern Charm until you and I started recapping it. You know that, like I didn't watch it from the beginning. I didn't start watching it until after we started watching Southern Hospitality. And is that coming back?

Kelli (27:00.398)
Yeah.

Kelli (27:05.839)
I hope so. I like that show.

We Wine Whenever (27:07.772)
Like it's been a long time since we've seen that, right?

Kelli (27:10.264)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (27:12.68)
don't know about the Paige and Craig thing. really don't. mean, listen, I-

Kelli (27:16.248)
I'm tired of these blind items. Gossip Girl is over. Like, go away. I don't want the blind items anymore.

We Wine Whenever (27:20.956)
I've, I heard that it's true and I don't know, like, I listened to Paige and Hannah on the Giggly Squad and I haven't heard her talk about Craig in a while.

Kelli (27:36.14)
Isn't that effed up though? Production asked them to just keep the appearances up until they start filming. So I guess this past season of Southern Charm and this past season of Summerhouse, they're still together, they're together, right? Because Summerhouse will be coming out soon. Summerhouse airs in the winter.

We Wine Whenever (27:52.775)
Well

Yeah, was gonna say, Summer House doesn't come out, I don't think, until like January.

Kelli (27:59.49)
Yeah, so when would they start filming again? They're gonna make them wait until then to break up?

We Wine Whenever (28:03.464)
No, I think I don't I don't think that I my guess is

I think if they broke up, they're waiting for it to come out so that you'll watch, so that you can see it. I think they may have broke up already and they're waiting for them. They don't want them to announce it. They want it to keep it on the hush.

Kelli (28:18.062)
Got it. That makes sense.

Kelli (28:29.838)
Why do you think they broke up because she wouldn't move down there? I honestly, in my personal opinion, feel like she should have moved down there, but that's just my personal opinion. I don't even know why I feel that way.

We Wine Whenever (28:40.728)
I don't think she should have moved down there.

Kelli (28:42.55)
I know, I don't know why I do. Maybe because I would love to live in Charleston.

We Wine Whenever (28:47.398)
I mean, listen, Hannah and Paige are doing their tour and they're all over the place and they're doing very well. You know, and she's got those Amazon lives. Like she is doing well on her own and I like them together. I think they're adorable, but you know, maybe she, I think she needs a New Yorker. I think she's a New Yorker at heart. She can't leave her family.

Kelli (28:55.321)
Yeah.

Kelli (28:58.788)
Yeah.

Kelli (29:10.444)
I don't, I think she had a New Yorker before Craig. Remember that cute guy? He had a restaurant and he wanted her to go to Miami with him for six weeks. And she was like, no.

We Wine Whenever (29:20.292)
Yeah, yeah, but he, you know, like she's got to find that. Listen, she doesn't need to settle. She doesn't need to settle.

Kelli (29:28.804)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (29:30.128)
I don't think people should settle. I don't think you should just say like, is it. Like either it is or it isn't. Because the rest of your life is a long time.

Kelli (29:37.848)
It's a long time and it's a lot of work. Like you really gotta be in it.

We Wine Whenever (29:40.227)
It's a lot of work. Right. And she did just get the cat too. Like also hear about is the cat. Have you listened to her lately? Yeah. She got a new kitten. Like, and that's all we hear about is this stupid. It's her daughter or kitten is her daughter. I mean,

Kelli (29:48.533)
No, I haven't.

Kelli (29:56.398)
Well, doesn't sound good then if she's not talking about him.

We Wine Whenever (29:59.606)
I haven't heard her talk about him. I have not. So I would not be surprised if it's true.

Kelli (30:07.084)
Right. Me too. Me too.

We Wine Whenever (30:09.9)
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Kelli (30:12.046)
Yeah. All right.

We Wine Whenever (30:14.956)
I guess until next time, thank you for watching and listening to We Why Whenever. Bye.

Kelli (30:19.812)
Bye.
